I have a thing for old bolt action rifles, from Mausers and Enfields to Arisakas and Mosins. I have a special soft spot for the Mosin Nagant rifle even though they’re overrated. The trusty and cheap (back in the day) Mosin was my first WWII era firearm I ever [Read More…]
Found this image posted with no context. From just the image alone it seems the person that owned this AR pistol had the muzzle brake tucked back a bit under the handguard. Not sure how many rounds it took but the front end of the handguard broke from the muzzle brake. [Read More…]
Looks like this was probably done as a joke. I see a rather tricked out Glock that appears to be done by Agency Arms. It has an RMR mounted to the slide and is holstered in a Crye Precision holster. The Glock has a threaded barrel with the Tuff Products railed muzzle [Read More…]

Muzzle brakes are a subject that I just can’t quite decide how I feel about them. On one hand they are loud and enhance muzzle flash, but on the other they are so darn effective it would be foolish to dismiss them. Every time that I get another one in for review [Read More…]

I jest. The Mosin Nagant is not a pig. I think every gun owner should have at least one in their safe. If you have never had the pleasure of firing one, I highly recommend doing so. They are fun (with the exception of the much lamented recoil) and cheap to shoot. [Read More…]
