The Nighthawk Custom BDS9 (Boardroom Double Stack 9mm) is a high-performance pistol designed for competitive shooters. James Reeves is back at TriggrCon 2023 with HUXWRX Safety to check out their new Flow-Through suppressor, the HUB-compatible Ventum 762. Many people recognize the benefits of running a flow-through suppressor but one of the former major drawbacks of the HUXWRX suppressor environment was that you were married to their mounts. TFBTV Show Time stopped by the Rock River Arms booth to check out this absolute monster of an AR from Rock River Arms, the LAR-BT6 chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum. Intended for those looking for bolt-action precision in a semi-auto package, the LAR-BT6 is supposed to be the perfect combination of both. This rifle is expected to start rolling out towards the end of Q4 2023 and should retail for about $5,500 according to the Rock River Arms website.

James Reeves covers the Genesis booth at TriggrCon 2023 to show you one of the hottest guns from the show: the short-barreled Genesis 12. Known primarily for being the fire-breathing mag-fed semi-auto shotgun from John Wick 4, the Genesis 12 has found instant popularity and is, in its own right, a solid design in a reliable package. Genesis is now pushing the boundaries of this platform by shrinking it down to a PDW-sized package with a 7-inch barrel. We actually got to try it out at the range at TriggrCon 2023.

TriggrCon 2022 was an absolute blast and I’m really glad that Rainer Arms has got the ball rolling again and is offering something akin to SHOT Show, but available to the general public. TriggrCon 2022 was hosted at the Flint Oak Hunting Lodge in Kansas and was a two-day event. Exhibitors like Aero Precision, Maxim Defense, Angstadt Arms, Stern Defense, Primary Weapons Systems, and Silencer Shop, all came out to showcase their latest products and give attendees a chance to try them out on the various ranges at the show. While I was there, I was able to meet up with new and old friends in the industry and one of them happened to be Ava Flanell. Ava is a current firearms instructor as well as a firearms business owner who loves checking out shows like TriggrCon to bring her audience a similar flavor of content that we give to you guys here at TFB. In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves visits the gang at PWS to check out their BDE. [lol] The BDE is the first suppressor from PWS. It’s made from lightweight titanium alloy, using a modular design with four removable baffles, and an entrance chamber that’s serialized and compatible with various suppressor mounts (via HUB mounting). It has taper-threaded baffles that prevent backing off and carbon locking, and symmetrical baffle notches to allegedly improve accuracy. MSRP is $1,099.95

The Aero Solus is going to be released by the end of 2022 in some form or another. While the price isn’t concrete yet, Aero is well known for having reasonably priced but high-quality AR-15s. Last year during the midst of the COVID-19 panic, TRIGGRCON 2021 was unfortunately canceled due to public safety concerns as well as the fact that several exhibitors had canceled their attendance for the same reasons. The good news this year is that TRIGGRCON 2022 is happening but this time it will be much further east and will take place at the Flint Oak Hunting Lodge in Fall River Kansas between October 7th and 8th and will be open to both media and industry professionals as well as regular firearms enthusiasts. Both I and TFBTV Executive Producer James Reeves will be attending the event and will be bringing you exclusive first looks at new products at the show as well as footage and coverage from the Range Day where we’ll hopefully be able to test out some of the latest products being offered by the firearms industry. The annual TriggrCon firearms event held in Washington state has been canceled. Triggrcon is a 3-day event in Bellevue, Washington that showcases the newest, most innovative companies and products in the tactical firearms industry. Unfortunately, it has now been announced on the TriggrCon website that TriggrCon 2020 has been canceled.

As TriggrCon 2019 was winding down on its last day, I came across Night Fision. For those who are unaware, Night Fision comes from… Night Vision + Nuclear Fission = Night Fision. They bring over 25 years of manufacturing experience with Tritium to the firearms industry. Although they always have top-notch sights on hand, I had not realized they had brought with something new to TriggrCon. They introduced to me their NEW Accur8 Sights that were developed in conjunction with “Student of the Gun.”

TriggrCon is meant to be an annual gathering of innovative, forward-thinking, and tactical brands proudly showing off their ‘wares for the firearms community to drool over (that may not be the mission statement for TriggrCon, but you get the idea). So obviously Strike Industries, one of the shooting community’s premier tactical accessory manufacturers, was going to be in attendance at TriggrCon 2019! They brought with their newly unveiled Gridlok handguards that are highly modular, come in an array of colors, and are constructed in varying lengths for a multitude of AR builds.
