Fix It Sticks has been promoting and expanding its firearm-focused toolkits a lot recently and they’ve also just announced a whole new toolkit specifically for ARs. The New AR Toolkit from Fix It Sticks is their most extensive AR toolkit available and features virtually every tool you could imagine for easily and effectively servicing your favorite rifle at the range or at home. Suitable for both AR-15 and AR-10 pattern rifles, the AR toolkit features loads of handy tools and is still compact enough to fit inside a normal range bag.

New AR Toolkit from Fix It Sticks – Their Most Extensive Rifle Toolkit Yet

A comprehensive toolkit to cover the needs of America’s most popular and customizable rifle platform. This toolkit matches the AR’s modularity containing an assortment of general and specialty tools designed to help maintain your rifle’s internals in varying calibers, and tighten down your custom optics and furniture to the correct torque. Like taking your entire tool bench into the field, the AR Field Armorer’s Toolkit compact case can travel anywhere you go to fix, maintain or upgrade your rifle.

Each Field Armorer Toolkit also includes:

  • All-in-One Torque Driver (15-65 in-lbs)
  • Ratchet T-Handle w/Locking Hex Drive
  • Extension/punch holder
  • 8-32 adapter
  • 1/2” socket and 1/4” bit adapter set
  • Set of Two Brass Cleaning Rods (accepts 8-32 threaded attachments)
  • Cleaning Brush
  • Steel Pick
  • Bronze Scraper
  • Castle Nut Wrench
  • Bolt Group Scrapers (.223, .308)
  • A2 Sight Adjuster
  • Non-marring Plastic Pin Punch
  • Brass Hammer Head
  • Extractor Tool (.223, .308)
  • Roll Pin Starter Punches (1/16”, 5/64” 3/32”, 1/8”)
  • Roll Pin Punches (1/16”, 5/64” 3/32”, 1/8”)
  • Pivot Pin Tools (AR10, AR15)
  • Bolt Catch Pin Punch (With Nylon Surface Protector)
  • Magnetic Tray
  • Bench Block
  • Soft Carrying Case
  • Twenty Two 1/4” Bits (1” in length):
    Torx: T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27
    Hex: 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, .050”, 1/16”, 5/64”, 3/32”, 7/64”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”, 1/4”
    Screwdriver: P1, P2, SL3/32”

It’s neat that this little toolkit even includes a micro-sized bench block which could come in handy for tapping out stubborn pins. I’ve had a lot of experience with Fix It Sticks tools and they not only feature quality inserts, but their carrying bag is quite durable as well and has held up being jostled around loose in my range bag (with a couple of extra tools) for years now. "Like taking your entire tool bench into the field", seriously??? Looking at the castle nut wrench, it does not build confidence considering it takes 40 ft pounds of torque (lubed)..Metal scrapers are a big no no and completely unnecessary..These kits seem to be targeted for those who don't understand, especially for 368 smackers..Build a proper tool kit if needed and leave these do everything bags for people with disposable incomes..Reminds me of the over priced first aid kits being sold on the market..My portable armorers kit fits in a multiple drawer tool box, not a pouch and if there is no stable vice, then good luck with that..
