The French Army uses the HK416F rifle. Eric B recently posted about their bayonets for said rifles. Well according to Retex, a French magazine, the French Army is getting airsoft rifles for training purposes. It is called the HK416F-S.

SIG Sauer has published a press release announcing that the SIG AIR Reflex Sight, which was introduced at the beginning of the year, is now shipping. At an MSRP of $49.99, this is an affordable red dot sight designed for use with airguns only, particularly, with optics-ready SIG AIR airguns such as the SIG AIR M17 pellet pistol, and SIG ProForce M17 and M18 airsoft pistols.

Crossman and Benjamin are two of the most recognizable names in the air rifle industry. Many people often do not realize that both actually belong to the Crossman family name as Crossman bought Benjamin back in 1992 with Crossman dating all the way back to 1924. The Craftsman Collection from Benjamin Air Guns has just been released focusing on hunters’ air gun needs out in the field.

Airsoft guns have long been a great tool for not only fun but also training. Turkish gunmaker Hatsan is known for their widely varied line of Escort shotguns. In addition to scatterguns, they also make a series of air rifles – even one that shoots arrows. Now with an August 4th press release, they’ve announced a new multi-caliber air-powered weapon: the aptly-named Hydra.

SIG Sauer has been integrating their M18, the carry-size military version of their P320 pistol, into DoD elements since winning the XM17 Modular Handgun Competition in 2017. The M18 is one of the two handguns (along with its big brother, the full-size M17) replacing the venerable Beretta M9, as it phases out of service after more than thirty years in the US military’s arsenal. Part and parcel of the adoption of a new weapon system is the need for proper training and education about it.

Umarex has added an airsoft Glock 45 pistol to their line of Glock airguns that were first introduced in September of 2017. Back then, Glock for the first time officially licensed the manufacturing of airsoft replicas of their pistols. Let’s see what features the new Umarex Glock 45 packs.

It’s not common for any product to be available for retail sale on the same day as the launch, but the new FX Wildcat MkIII from FX Airguns is a nice exception. The new model has many improvements over the previous models of Wildcats and comes in two versions: the short Wildcat MkIII Compact and the longer Wildcat MkIII Sniper. From user reviews I’ve seen these airguns are extremely accurate, even over 100 yards and beyond.

Umarex USA, the American subsidiary of the German air gun manufacturer, has just released the new Fusion 2 CO2 powered bolt action repeater. The .177 caliber plinking rifle is an upgraded version of the previous Fusion model and it offers several interesting features at an affordable price.

Airforce Airguns, maker of the “ most powerful production air rifle“, just announced a partnership with American Built Arms Company. The Pennsylvanian company, best known for their Mod*X rifle chassis, will be the OEM of several component and accessories for the Texas based airgun manufacturer.

Umarex USA is a popular manufacturer of airsoft pistols, rifles as well as air guns and paintball guns. Just released, the new Umarex AirSaber Arrow Rifle is the company’s latest offering to the airgun market. Hunters will love this lethal archery option that gives the arrow more speed and power than a crossbow while maintaining the ergonomics of a rifle. The Umarex AirSaber is also said to be safer and easier to operate than its crossbow counterparts.

SIG Sauer continue to expand their SIG AIR ProForce line of airsoft guns based on their popular real counterparts. The newest addition to the ProForce line up is a battery-powered, automatic electric gun (or AEG) version of the MCX Virtus.

As SIG ramp up their air gun offerings, the US Coast Guard’s official airsoft training pistol is now available commercially. The 6mm ProForce P229 fires biodegradable BBs, using Green Gas, at 295 fps.

Here is something a little different, an Air Rifle by SIG Sauer. When Pete first offered up a SIG Sauer Air Rifle for review I thought he was talking about the SIG MPX. I had one and while it is a fun toy, it is not really that great. Pete then told me it was for their APS20 with integrated suppressor. I was genuinely curious how good this $640 air rifle could be.

So as the winter months are closing in and the lazier amongst us might not get to the range quite as often. ADIHEX, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, is an annual event towards the end of the, scorching hot, summer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As the name implies, this is not firearms dedicated show, but the “hunting guns” area alone is usually worth a visit, if anything to understand what are the models which catch the interest of the local populations.

In February, TFB reported the introduction of the Umarex-made Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle.  It seems like a seamless way to transition youth from shooting pellet guns in the back yard to shooting .22 LR at the range.  The Ruger 10/22 already has a large following, so this option may add a bit more versatility with the same ergonomics that customers are used to in the original rimfire version. After moving out from behind enemy lines years ago, my first act was to divest myself of my high-end air guns and stock up on NFA items like suppressors. It was a wonderful feeling. But every so often I get the urge to pick up a new FX or Daystate PCP .25 caliber rifle. Besides being hyper accurate and quiet, they are relatively cheap to shoot. Recently Airguns Of Arizona Announced another make and model that would pull me back into the game: the LCS SK-19 full auto air rifle.

About a year ago Umarex introduced their new line of licensed airsoft replicas of Glock pistols. Back then, they launched the G42, G19, G17, and G17 Gen4 replicas. Recently, they have added three other airsoft Glocks including a G19 Gen4, G18C, and G19X. Although there are many other airsoft Glocks on the market, to my knowledge, those made by Umarex are the only ones officially licensed by the Austrian manufacturer of these ever-popular handguns.

SIG Sauer’s air weapons division, SIG AIR, continues to expand introducing a new PCP or Pre-Charged Pneumatic air rifle based on their MCX Virtus range of rifles. The new MCX Virtus based rifle has a PCP reservoir making up its butt and feeds from the SIG Rapid Pellet Magazine. Earlier this month SIG AIR also introduced a BB version of the popular SIG P365 pistol.

Last year SIG Sauer launched their own line of air weapons, SIG AIR. Their latest offering is a BB / .177 version of the popular P365 pistol. The P365 BB weighs in at 13 oz or 0.36 kg, which is only slightly lighter than the real thing which comes in at 17.8 oz  or 0.5 kg and SIG claim the P365 BB has a “similar weight and feel of the P365 9mm firearm.”

Smith & Wesson have agreed to expand their licensing agreement with German airgun and airsoft manufacturer Umarex. Umarex have been a licensed partner of Smith & Wesson for over 20 years, originally partnering back in 1996 to produce replica BB and pellet guns of weapons made by Smith & Wesson. The new license will see the range made by Umarex to include new airsoft weapons and paintball guns.

SIG Sauer have announced the launch of their professional line of airsoft training weapons. SIG AIR will initially offer a ProForce M17 airsoft pistol and a ProForce P229 airsoft pistol. The move comes as last November TFB reported that the US Coast Guard had picked the SIG AIR SIG P229 Airsoft Pistol for training. SIG say the new pistols are “designed as replicas of their centerfire counterparts in look, balance and handling characteristics and engineered to SIG standards for precision, accuracy, and reliability.”

Umarex, the air rifle manufacturers, have announced that they are introducing a replica Ruger 10/22 air rifle. Umarex have agreed on a licensing deal with Sturm, Ruger & Co. to produce the new CO2 powered air rifle. Chambered in .177 with a 10 shot rotary magazine, mimicking the real thing, the Umarex 10/22 can fire a pellet at 650 feet per second.

Umarex has taken their Gauntlet and re-worked it into another caliber for consumers to play with! Now you can get the Gauntlet Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) Air Rifle in .25 Caliber for your recreation, hunting, or league shooting fun. While this rifle is extremely similar to the original Gauntlet, it affords shooters the choice of .25 Caliber if that suits their fancy more. On the Sunday before this year’s SHOT Show, TFB and TFBTV were invited to attend the Sig Sauer Range Day at the Clark County Shooting Complex about 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas. The complex itself was incredible, with bays that catered to every type of shooter imaginable. Sig had arranged for a type of ‘Opening Ceremony’ that was an awesome display of former special operations guys dropping in via parachute and assaulting a group of autonomous motorized targets. The MCX-outfitted unit was backed up by a team of former soldiers and law enforcement officer from the Sig Sauer academy. The sweet display of force lasted about 20 minutes followed by an analysis of the the guns, gear and tactics used by each of the operators.
