After moving out from behind enemy lines years ago, my first act was to divest myself of my high-end air guns and stock up on NFA items like suppressors. It was a wonderful feeling. But every so often I get the urge to pick up a new FX or Daystate PCP .25 caliber rifle. Besides being hyper accurate and quiet, they are relatively cheap to shoot. The LCS SK-19 is a revolutionary PCP air rifle that will soon be available at Airguns of Arizona. It is a selective fire model which offers full auto and semi-automatic operation!
There’s a built-in 19-shot rotary magazine and Lothar Walther barrel with a choice of .22 and .25 calibers. The SK-19 is regulated, of course, giving a claimed 110 shots per fill in .22 cal and 90 in .25 caliber.
I have shot a SK-19. This gun certainly works! I found that brief dabs on the trigger gave accurate 3-5 shot bursts that were very controllable on the full auto setting.
Of course, the standout feature of this hammerless semi-auto and full auto air rifle is the high rate of fire! LCS Air Arms says that this air rifle can empty the 19-shot magazine in under 3 seconds. That’s a fire rate of around 6 shots per second in full auto mode.
The LCS SK-19 is claimed by the manufacturer to chamber the longest pellets and slugs in both .22 and .25 calibers without problems.
The barrels are supplied by Lothar Walther. They are covered with a carbon fiber style shroud and silencer for low muzzle report.
The regulator is adjustable using a small knob. This is located just above the rear of the 480cc carbon fiber HPA tank. Filling is by an industry-standard 1/8 Inch NPT quick disconnect.
The SK-19 air rifle from LCS Air Arms represents a new generation in a semi-auto hammer-less design. Made in the USA! The tactical design and select-fire function allows for semi-auto or full-auto rate of fire. The SK-19 provides an incredible rate of fire and high power in 22 caliber. The LCS SK-19 magazine provides 19 shots and will chamber the longest of available pellets or slugs. Accuracy is provided by a Lother-Walther barrel and a highly tunable regulated action. The regulator is adjustable from a small easy-to-access knob just in front of the air fill. A power wheel at the back of the action gives the shooter further command of the air delivery mechanism. The rifle sports two safeties, a picatinny scope rail and bipod rail. The barrel is covered with a carbon fiber style shroud and silencer for low muzzle report. The LCS SK-19 comes standard with a 480cc removable carbon bottle and two pressure gauges for vital air supply and regulator pressure information. In full-auto fire the rifle will run through the 19 shot magazine in under 3 seconds. The SK-19 is a leap forward in airgunning fun and performance.
