Czech Small Arms Introduces vz.15 Ultra Low Bore Axis Pistol
Is 2017 the Year of the Low Bore Axis? It seems like it just might be! Amid a sea of other pistols advertised as having low bore axes ( some of which do deliver on that claim), the Jablunka-based Czech Small Arms has introduced a new pistol with about as low a bore axis as is possible on a gun with the magazine feeding through the grip. The new handgun was introduced at IWA 2017, and is called the vz.15. CzechPoint posted photos of the new gun on their Facebook page:

Steyr Introduces New .22 LR RFP Semiautomatic Pistol
Steyr has introduced a new rimfire pistol to the European shooting market at IWA 2016. The pistol, aptly dubbed the “RFP” (which I imagine stands for Rim Fire Pistol), shares similar styling and its polymer framed construction with Steyr’s M9 and M40 centerfire handgun, but differs in some significant features. Unlike the M9 series, it features a magazine safety which blocks movement of the trigger if the magazine is removed. Also unlike its centerfire stablemates, the RFP is external hammer fired not striker-fired and features an ambidextrous safety-decocker, which may be a hint that US importation of the RFP is imminent.

Exclusive: B&T APC223 Prototype .223 Rifle
Folks, you saw it here first. Brugger & Thomet (B&T) has developed a prototype .223 Remington version of their APC9 submachine gun. We don’t have any specs on the gun, but we can see from the photos that it uses AR-15 magazines, has fully ambidextrous controls, a left/right swappable charging handle and a folding stock.
Czech Small Arms vz. 58 Rifles: PDW, Sporting and Bolt Action
CZ may have abandoned the vz. 58 rifle, but Czech Small Arms (CSA) continues to produce a range of different models. The CSA vz. 58 rifles are chambered in 7.62x39mm and .223 Remington. They vary in size from the PDW-sized Compact to the much larger Sporter Rifle. CSA even produces a bolt-action version with a thumbhole stock, presumably for places where they either ban all semi-automatics or just ban them for hunting. The rifles below were on display at IWA ’13.
