Umarex USA is a popular manufacturer of airsoft pistols, rifles as well as air guns and paintball guns. Just released, the new Umarex AirSaber Arrow Rifle is the company’s latest offering to the airgun market. Hunters will love this lethal archery option that gives the arrow more speed and power than a crossbow while maintaining the ergonomics of a rifle. The Umarex AirSaber is also said to be safer and easier to operate than its crossbow counterparts.

In February, TFB reported the introduction of the Umarex-made Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle.  It seems like a seamless way to transition youth from shooting pellet guns in the back yard to shooting .22 LR at the range.  The Ruger 10/22 already has a large following, so this option may add a bit more versatility with the same ergonomics that customers are used to in the original rimfire version. About a year ago Umarex introduced their new line of licensed airsoft replicas of Glock pistols. Back then, they launched the G42, G19, G17, and G17 Gen4 replicas. Recently, they have added three other airsoft Glocks including a G19 Gen4, G18C, and G19X. Although there are many other airsoft Glocks on the market, to my knowledge, those made by Umarex are the only ones officially licensed by the Austrian manufacturer of these ever-popular handguns.

Smith & Wesson have agreed to expand their licensing agreement with German airgun and airsoft manufacturer Umarex. Umarex have been a licensed partner of Smith & Wesson for over 20 years, originally partnering back in 1996 to produce replica BB and pellet guns of weapons made by Smith & Wesson. The new license will see the range made by Umarex to include new airsoft weapons and paintball guns.

Umarex, the air rifle manufacturers, have announced that they are introducing a replica Ruger 10/22 air rifle. Umarex have agreed on a licensing deal with Sturm, Ruger & Co. to produce the new CO2 powered air rifle. Chambered in .177 with a 10 shot rotary magazine, mimicking the real thing, the Umarex 10/22 can fire a pellet at 650 feet per second.

Umarex has taken their Gauntlet and re-worked it into another caliber for consumers to play with! Now you can get the Gauntlet Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) Air Rifle in .25 Caliber for your recreation, hunting, or league shooting fun. While this rifle is extremely similar to the original Gauntlet, it affords shooters the choice of .25 Caliber if that suits their fancy more. Heckler and Koch had their new .22LR HK416 clone rifle and pistol at range day. Some of you may recall a similar set of HK416 clones by Umarex/Walther. These are based on the same gun but brought under H&K USA control.

It is more obvious that there is hope for firearms restricted cultures: and we should eventually have access to higher calibre Air Rifles. These will be used for plinking and hunting primarily, and maybe for some sort of home defence also.

Last week, Hrachya posted a sneak peak of the Umarex HDR50. I happen to attend IWA 2018 while I was in Germany last week and got a chance to take a closer look at it along with some of Umarex’s other offerings.

Umarex has released an image of an upcoming new product that will be introduced during the IWA 2018 arms exhibition held in Nuremberg, Germany. This is a .50 caliber CO2 revolver which Umarex markets as a home defense gun. It is called HRD 50.

Earlier we reported about the Umarex announcement of their agreement with Glock of manufacturing licensed airsoft and BB Glock replicas. UMAREX has announced that they will be launching licensed airsoft and BB copies of Glock pistols. According to the UMAREX’s press release, this is the first time ever Glock licenses an airsoft production. The UMAREX guns will carry original Glock markings and will come in Glock cases. These airguns are expected to hit the shelves of the stores in November 2017. They will be available worldwide.
