James is at the Umarex booth to talk about this wild new less-lethal air-powered AR-type carbine that accepts a wide range of ammunition payloads including OC/pepper powder, less-lethal solid projectiles, and even UV markers. The most interesting part, however, would be its ability to self-regulate its operating pressure and projectile velocity based on the distance to the target, which it detects with a laser range-finding module.

At the 2024 SHOT Show Umarex unveiled its latest offering to the specialized sport of bowfishing – the FISHR Bow Fishing Airgun, also referred to as an Arrow Rifle. Umarex, which already made a mark in the market with its innovative air guns like the Umarex AirSaber Arrow Rifle, has created a buzz with its new water game equipment.

Glocks are very popular, a statement that can earn someone the title of “Captain Obvious”. It is still true, though. So it should not come as a surprise to anyone that the German gunmaker Umarex is giving this pistol its very special attention and opening up the air pistol and paintball gun market. The company was licensed by Glock to make copies of the gun for various non-lethal uses. It started last year with a gas-gun version. Due to the enthusiastic acceptance and the great demand, it was decided to develop further variants. The next two copies, Glock paintball and air pistols, were presented at the IWA.

Umarex USA is a major producer of air guns. Their booth at SHOT Show 2022 was loaded with new models across multiple product lines.

New for this year from Umarex is the Airsaber Elite X2, a 450fps airbow that generates 130 ft-lbs of energy.  Accurate out past 100 yards, this airbow has serious power on tap.  The most unique feature, however, is that this airbow is double barreled, allowing one to rapidly fire two arrows downrange rapidly, one right into the other if you aim well enough.

Today at SHOT 2022’s Industry Day at the Range, Umarex unveiled their brand new Primal 20. Airguns have been carving themselves a niche in the hunting market and Umarex is one of the big names in that area. Their newest offering is a 20-gauge slug firing airgun.

Hello and welcome back to another edition of The Rimfire Report! This ongoing series is all bout the rimfire firearm world and its various arms, ammunition, and practices. This week we’re talking about the recently released H&K .22LR MP5 pistol and rifle. Both of the new guns are something that customers have been wishing to see from the German arms manufacturer and now they have it albeit not directly from H&K but under license through Umarex. H&K sent us a pair of guns to test out and review and today I’ll share with you my experiences with both the pistol and rifle variants to give you a solid idea of if you might want to pick up one of these new .22LR MP5 guns since they should now be showing up on gun store shelves and online.

Umarex Airguns presents the first officially licensed Glock 17 Gen5 T4E paintball marker under the tagline “Paint. Compete. Perform.” It uses an 8-round magazine that holds .43 caliber paint or powderballs. The magazine also includes a 12-gram CO2 cartridge that can be changed without tools. Dimensions and operation of the Umarex marker are made to be very similar to the real thing, to help with routine handling and intuitive operation.

HK USA are bringing some serious German fun this fall with the introduction of a rimfire version of their iconic MP5. Ideal for backyard .22LR plinking or more serious range training, the new MP5 .22s offer an authentic feel and controls to the real centrefire deal. The rimfire MP5 are made in Germany, under license, by Umarex and have an MSRP of $479.

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves reviews H&K’s newest MP5 – the MP5 in .22LR. H&K has licensed Umarex of Germany to make a rimfire pistol and rifle version of the famous MP5 SMG. The pistol version will have an 8.5″ barrel and no buttstock, while the rifle version will replicate the looks of the H&K MP5SD A3 with a collapsing stock and a 16.1″ barrel. Fans of air guns will be happy to hear that Umarex has updated one of its more popular pre-charged pneumatic air rifles – the Gauntlet. The Gauntlet 2 claims to offer many improvements over the first-gen Gauntlet air rifle like a refined look, a larger air tank and increased regulated pressure at the tank. The Gauntlet 2 will be available in both .22 and .25 calibers.

Umarex is the first company that was licensed by Glock to make replicas of their handguns. About three years ago, they released the first seven models of licensed Glock airsoft and BB guns and ever since they’ve been continuously adding replicas of other Glock pistol models. Recently, the company has expanded their line of licensed Glock products into another category they are specialized in – blank firing guns. Umarex has introduced their first blank firing Glock replica ( Glock 17 Gen5) chambered in 9mm P.A.K.

Airsoft guns have long been a great tool for not only fun but also training. The mostly harmless plastic BBs of airsoft guns serve as a passable amalgamation of live fire with a nonlethal impact to let the receiving end know they’ve been hit. Airsoft enthusiasts may have entire collections of realistic copies of popular military firearms, however, there is one special licensed airsoft gun that only the US Armed Forces and police forces of about 48 countries have access to.

Umarex has added an airsoft Glock 45 pistol to their line of Glock airguns that were first introduced in September of 2017. Back then, Glock for the first time officially licensed the manufacturing of airsoft replicas of their pistols. Let’s see what features the new Umarex Glock 45 packs.

Umarex USA, the American subsidiary of the German air gun manufacturer, has just released the new Fusion 2 CO2 powered bolt action repeater. The .177 caliber plinking rifle is an upgraded version of the previous Fusion model and it offers several interesting features at an affordable price.
