[SHOT 2022] New Air Gun Models From Umarex

Umarex USA is a major producer of air guns. Their booth at SHOT Show 2022 was loaded with new models across multiple product lines.

The Emerge air rifle is a break barrel model that feeds from a 12-shot magazine. It is available in .177 or .22 caliber. Its listed velocity is 1,000 fps (.177) or 800 fps (.22). The integrated SilencAir moderator reduces shooting noise. The Emerge includes a 4×32 scope and retails for $189.99.

Umarex’s Legends series recreates classic firearms like the C96 Mauser, Tommy gun, and the Luger. New for 2022 is a Legends M3 Grease Gun. This clone of the M3 .45 ACP submachine gun shoots steel .177 BBs from a 60-round magazine. It is capable of full auto fire at a cyclic rate of 1,050 rounds per minute. The Legends M3 utilizes two 12 gram CO2 cartridges. It will be available soon, with a retail price of $249.99.

Umarex also partners with various firearm manufacturers to create licensed air gun copies of their real guns. New this year is a Ruger Mark IV break barrel .177 caliber pellet pistol. It is a 1:1 replica of the renowned .22 LR pistol. The Mark IV pellet replica is available now for $54.99.

Another new licensed air gun clone new this year is the H&K MP7. Like the Mark IV, it utilizes a break barrel action to fire .177 caliber pellets. The MP7 includes an Axeon red dot sight and a collapsible stock. It will be available soon with a retail price of $149.99.

The Notos line of .22 caliber air guns utilize a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP)  air tank and a 7-shot magazine. Both pistol and carbine models are available, and include a 3-baffle SilencAir sound moderator. Retail price is $229.99 for the pistol, $259.99 for the carbine.

Umarex continues to expand their line of “Air Archery” guns as well. The AirJavelin Pro incorporates a 4,500 PSI air tank, which contains enough pressure for approximately 15 full power shots and ten additional shots with reduced power. The AirSaber Elite X2 is also new this year. It features a side-by-side layout like a safari double rifle.
