H&K 416 .22LR Pistol
I recently acquired this Umarex H&K 416 pistol. For only $299 from CDNN, it is a bargain for a Pistol AR in 22LR. Originally the HK416 pistol comes with a faux suppressor muzzle device and a rear end cap on the lower receiver that has a QD sling fitting.Aside from the faux suppressor, a lot of the AR style features are not real AR accessories. The trigger is built into a drop in pack so unfortunately it does not use standard AR triggers. The safety selector is proprietary as well. The forward assist and bolt catch/release are also fake but the dust cover is functional.
Gun Review: Walther/Colt Government 1911A1 .22LR
The 1911 needs no introduction. As the standard service pistol for the U.S. Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985, the 1911 served our country for a literal lifetime. This storied heritage of performance, in combination with the 1911’s ubiquity, translated to a steady and enthusiastic adoption in the civilian market. Without question, the M1911 .45ACP enjoys one of the most fervent fan bases in the civilian shooting world for a number of reasons. The ease of obtaining aftermarket parts, the typically crisp single-action trigger, and the patriotic symbolism of this old standard have made this one of the most popular guns on the market today.

Umarex USA Regent R100 .45 ACP 1911
Umarex USA will soon be importing their first centerfire pistol, the Regent .45 ACP 1911. This pistol, manufactured by the Turkish firm Trabzon Gun Industry, was previously imported by IAC. Umarex have told me that they have been working closely with Trabzon to ensure more strict quality standards. Unlike the previous Regent 1911s imported by IAC, the Umarex Regent all feature Hogue grips.
Colt / Umarex .22 1911
1911-patterened pistols chambered in .22 LR are all the rage right now in the industry. Umarex USA, who manufacture the .22 Colt M4 Carbine, will be selling a Colt branded 1911-style .22 pistol later this year. The pistol will come in three models. The Government-style model is the base model. The Rail model features improved sights, a picatinny rail and skeletonized trigger and hammer. A Gold Cup has been mentioned but I do not know what its features are.
