If any Taurus owners have money to spare, CAA now offers the MCK Micro Chassis for Taurus G2c, G3, and G3c pistols. The CAA MCK Micro chassis offers a large-format pistol form factor with brace functionality, along with storage for an extra magazine and flashlight compatibility. Initially offered for Glock pistols in the mid-2010s, the MCK chassis has evolved in generations, as well as expanded compatibility to a few different families of pistols.

This device allows you to slip your handgun into a chassis that gives it SMG-like properties, and it’s an expensive gadget cooked up by real Israeli operators. Command Arms Accessories is bringing an updated version of their Roni carbine conversion for popular handguns. Updated this year is an integrated light mount, pistol brace, and a grip that functions as a spare magazine when one is inserted. There are plans to bring a version in for H&K handguns as well.

CAA USA, designers, and developers of the MCK/Micro Conversion Kit confirmed that since May 2019, it has a licensing agreement with SB Tactical, the originators of the patented Pistol Stabilizing Brace, for exclusive use on CAA USA products.

Love them or hate them, there is little denying that the RONI kits for the Glock pistol are extremely popular with the shooting public. Made by CAA, these kits come in a variety of sizes with a range of options to accessorize your Glock handgun. One of the latest is the limited edition Micro RONI Stabilizer Advanced Kit White. Whew…that’s a heck of a name.

Converting handguns into a carbine like form is nothing new, going back at least to the Civil War with various attempts at installing a stock and longer barrel on revolvers in use at the time. Command Arms Accessories has been brining to market their Roni kit for several years now, but is there any actual use of it outside of recreational conversions? Examples from Iraq and India have shown the conversion kit in active usage by some soldiers within the Iraqi Army, and the National Socialist Council of Nagaland, a separatist group in India. I can’t find the photograph that showed an Iraqi soldier with the Roni, but instead found one of a soldier in an Iraqi uniform shooting it at a shooting range. In addition I’ve shown a number of Ronis that have appeared on the Iraqi small arms market, some outfitted to Glock 17s, and others to what appears to be a Walther P99 handgun.

Not too long ago we reviewed the non-NFA RONI for the Glock 17 and found it to be a pretty good option if you are looking for such a thing. Shortly after that review was finished up, CAA announced the Micro RONI that appeared to be geared more towards LEO and MIL use.

CAA brought out 3D printed prototypes of the Micro RONI at last Big 3 East. Just recently, CAA posted up this commercial for their Micro Roni. From the video it looks like it is much easier to install a Glock pistol. Instead of opening an entire side of the Roni, you just lower a trap door and insert the Glock up and into the Micro RONI chassis. The drop leg holster for the Micro Roni is interesting.

CAA has recently expanded their RONI line with a new non-NFA option for those that want a proper stock but refuse to file a stamp. Recently I reviewed the Lock, Stock, and Barrel carbine conversion and found it lacking in a few areas, based on a cursory look at the RONI chassis I feel like this might feel more like a rifle for those looking to turn their pistol into a rifle.

CAA will soon be shipping out their Roni platform equipped with an SB Tactical Stabilizer Brace to dealers and distributors. If you didn’t already know the ATF actually recently approved the collapsing version of the SB Tactical Stabilizer Brace made for the Sig MPX. The Roni platform from CAA has been around for a while, they’re a kit that accepts most popular pistols (Glocks, CZ, Sig Sauer, HK, Springfields, Beretta and a few others) and turns them into pistol carbines, a stockless version is available as well.

Israeli accessory company, CAA came to the Big 3 East for the first time and they did not disappoint. They brought out their newest versions of the Roni carbine stock.

Command Arms Accessories has had the RONI carbine conversion for the Glock pistol available for quite some time, but that adapted an existing handgun to a shoulder-fired weapon. Due to the barrel length of all Glock pistols, this required NFA paperwork be done on the handgun, as it was now a “short barreled rifle,” or SBR.

I am not sure what to call Command Arms Accessories latest product. The RONI Recon is a variant of their RONI Carbine Kit, which converts pistols to carbines, but this kit does not turn a pistol into a carbine, it simply makes a Glock into a much bigger Glock.
