Safariland Announces Multicam Arid Holsters
Safariland’s latest special edition camo is Multicam Arid. This pattern has been long-awaited by desert dwellers and fans of unique camo. Let’s take a look at the various models.
New Limited Edition Tiger Stripe Camo Holsters from Safariland
Popularized across the globe by many different militaries, Tiger Stripe camouflage is starting to work its way into the growing civilian gear market. The Safariland Group has announced the introduction of some new limited edition Tiger Stripe camo holsters designed for modern handguns equipped with red dot optics. These new Tiger Stripe camo holsters will feature the same durable and high-quality Cordura fabric, and will also be available with compatibility for the ALS and SLS locking systems.
Howa Adds Kratos Camo Full-Dip Rifle to Product Line
Not so long ago, the vast majority of hunting rifles were only available with traditional wood furniture or they were of the all-black tactical variety. If you wanted something different in the aesthetic department, you would likely have to break out some rattle-can spray paint in a selection of browns and greens or find something like a cloth-based wrap-around solution. With the proliferation of better methods like Cerakoting in other colors or hydro-dipping patterns, options have greatly expanded in recent years and many of these alternatives are now being offered straight from gun factories. Howa has gotten on board with satisfying this customer demand, and they are now offering a new full-dip Kratos camo pattern rifle.
DS-15 Hunter Special Editions from Dark Storm Industries
Dark Storm Industries recently announced a trio of special edition AR-style rifles targeted for the hunting market. The new DS-15 Hunter special edition rifles are chambered for the 300 BLK cartridge, feature a camouflage finish and are available in three different styles to match your state’s legal requirements.
ERGO's New Camo Grip for AR
ERGO Grips announced an extension of its line of the ERGO 2 AR GRIP line of pistol grips for the AR platform. The new grip has an organic camouflage pattern dominated by browns. Due to the way the grips are made, each one has a unique appearance.
NEW: BullGator Camo from TWN
Whether you’re a hunter or not you probably have more than a few camo patterns in your house. And while the most recognizable brands such as Mossy Oak and Real Tree certainly dominate many closets and gun safes there are a multitude of other patterns out there. In fact, some of the most eye-catching patterns were designed by less well-known companies. TWN is one such company although they are by no means new to this. They’ve been working in water transfer – think hydro dipping – for twenty years. Their latest offering comes as the result of a collaboration with a newer business, BullGator Outfitters. The pattern is named for the outfitter and is what it sounds like: an alligator print, with a twist.
NOMAD Expanding Hunting Apparel Line
NOMAD might be somewhat of a newcomer on the hunting apparel scene but it’s a line with years of planning behind it. The guys behind NOMAD have an impressive amount of experience both within the industry and as hunters themselves, so it comes as no surprise they’d design a line of hunting clothes they simply describe as “by hunters, for hunters”. Now they’re expanding their line and I cannot help but be a bit excited about what the expansion includes: women’s styles (among other things).
Rocky Venator Camo: An Entirely New Pattern
Rocky has been around since 1932 when a pair of brothers by the name of Bill and Mike Brooks decided to found a shoe factory in Ohio. That was during the Great Depression, so it was a serious leap of faith. Over the years Rocky hasn’t just succeeded, they’ve flourished, and now they’ve come up with something entirely new: their own camo pattern, Venator.
New Hunting Clothes From ScentLok and Mossy Oak
It may not be a new gun or holster announcement, but since we’re getting into the thick of some of the most popular hunting seasons of the year, it’s definitely applicable. Hunting is definitely one of my favorite pastimes, and that means a need not only for great guns but good quality gear. If you’re a hunter you’re always on the lookout for the latest in scent-blocking technology, and one of the best brands out there is ScentLok. Now ScentLok has teamed up with Mossy Oak and DICK’S Sporting Goods on a new clothing system, ScentLok Maverick.
Heated Hunting Jacket From Radians
In the quest for the ultimate hunting gear you come across all manner of items, but none have promised the kind of comfort this new jacket from Radians does, because it’s heated. Yes, you read that right: heated. Now when you’re sitting in a blind and snow starts to fall you won’t be relying on just your layering technique and personal body heat to survive the chill waiting for the buck of your dreams to stroll on by, you can have the ultimate in hunting clothing technology.
Camo Hi-Point Pistols
MKS Supply announced that Hi-Point pistols will now be available with a variety of camo colors:
POTD: Real "Tree" Camo Stock Mossberg Plinkster
Found this image in a Facebook Group about FNH SCARS. The post did not have any information other than some jokes about it.
Muddy Girl Reaches Another Platform… This Time UTAS Shotgun
The inexorable march of pink camouflage marches on. Its latest victim (er… “partner”) is UTAS who has implemented it on its UTAS bullpup shotgun. Its announcement includes the usual drivel of how “aggressive” the Muddy Girl Camo is on the UTAS “attitude” driven design. Ay carumba, can someone spare me the marketing-speak?
New M4 Ruger 10/22 Stock and Takedown Colors
Lyman has come out with new color options for fans of the M4 Ruger 10/22 and Takedown. The new colors are based on their STON camo pattern and range from the earth tones of Coyote to the unmistakable reds of Lava. With this wide range of options they have something for everyone.
