A great photo of a custom .308 build by @west_texas_ordnance. Finished up this cool 308 for a customer. Trued @remingtonarmscompany 700 action, threaded bolt handle and Mini M16 extractor, Lilja 5R 10 twist barrel in the Mk13 contour, #mcmillian A2 with stock saddle, [Read More…]
Reminiscent of Robert Rodriguez’ Planet Terror, this guy had a prosthesis made to look like an AR15. If you look closely at the AR15 styled prosthesis, it does not look like it is a real gun. The grip and selector switch stand out and do not look [Read More…]
Thanks Adam S. for sharing this. Adam gets some interesting customers at his work. One thing I miss about working behind the gun counter is the oddball stuff that comes in once in a while. One of Adam’s customers brought this in. One of my customers said he [Read More…]
My friend J.W. Ramp just built his first AK47. Up close with the PSAK-47 build kit I just put together from @palmettostatearmory. Chose their “MOEKOV” version with the Zhukov stock and MOE handguards. Very happy with how it turned out and thought it was [Read More…]
Another of Keith’s gems in his machine shop. A target pistol Beretta Mod 102. It still has the original box and papers. The barrel stay stationary and only the slide cycles rearward. It reminds me of the Neos and 87 Target. This is the predecessor. The large [Read More…]

I stumbled across this picture of an odd 1911 drum magazine. It looks like is made of multiple 1911 magazines in a rotary style setup. It sort of reminds me of the X-Rail for shotguns or the Nerf Pyragon where you have small internal magazines arranged in a circle and [Read More…]
Yesterday I met a machinist that is a bit into firearms. He showed me some classic Colts that he inherited. Colt Officer’s Model Match Keith also has the second National Match .38 Special 1911 I have seen. The first one can be seen here. The [Read More…]

Dave C. shared this photo of some brass he is processing. His son Cullen is helping him go through the approximate 88k rounds of once fired brass. Do you guys reload? Do you process this much brass?

My wife works as an Applications Engineer and used a Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope (FIB-SEM) to mill a piece of silicone and draw the Magpul logo. I am a bit of a fan of Magpul. I even have a “Magpul” license plate. In the photo you can see [Read More…]
This photo has been circulating online recently and it gave me the inspiration to try it. I grabbed some .40 S&W brass and some spare LEGO heads. Sure enough they seat into the casing. I even loaded them in my Glock 22 magazine and fed the mag into my Glock 35. Just [Read More…]
Miles V. friend Corey V. posted a photo of how he packed his 1919A4 on a US ARMY Packboard. For fellow nerds, this is how the packboard instructions say to carry the M1919a4. I also managed to squeeze in a machette, 3 section cleaning rod, good chunk of cord, axe and [Read More…]
This photo was reposted by @ArmoryBlog and was originally posted by @theglockchannel. It looks like a Glock 43 stripped down and suspended. Possibly hung with fishing string and photoshopped out the lines. It does not look like a CG rendering, however if it is a CG [Read More…]
Independant Studio Services aka ISS Weapons posted a picture of a rare MP7 Deployment briefcase. I have not found any information on this if it is an actual H&K product like the original MP5K briefcase which you can see Rusty’s lightning review here. The MP5K [Read More…]
With a little bit of ridiculousness thrown in, Strike Industries put a SureFire 60rd magazine on to this SBR. They should have gone for gold and put a drum or 100rd SureFire mag on it. Oh and they added a DI Optical DCL-120 optic onto it. If its good enough for a 50 cal [Read More…]
Derek Smith aka @ikickhippies recently acquired a Hi-Standard HDM. It is uses the same magazine as the Colt Woodsman. It has an integral suppressor and designed to reduce gun shots by more than 20 dB. The gun was developed during WWII and was adopted by the OSS.
No, you aren’t looking at a mistake. This was done intentionally. According to MBX, this offset will make a PCC shooter faster since they do not need to waste time getting a proper cheek weld to get their sight picture. In theory that works for strong handed [Read More…]
Thanks to Uncle Webkins for submitting a pic of his PCC. Newly stamped, Quarter Circle 10 Large Frame in 45, running hush mode with Silencerco Hybrid. The first in a photo series entitled “I Sure Miss the eForms… Bastards!” I like the use of the [Read More…]
Alan of Battle Comp posted this online. I found it amusing. It looks to be made by CustomGunRails.com. Our large Laser Engraved Aluminum (LEA) rail covers are made of high strength, abrasion and solvent resistant thermoplastic bonded with a hardcoat anodized, laser [Read More…]
A friend of mine shared this photo he found on Reddit. It is a SilencerCo Osprey 45 on a 10mm Glock 20. Both have had sections removed to expose the details underneath. I have seen cutaway Glocks but not a 10mm Glock 20 version before. After a little research, this [Read More…]
Thanks to Adam S. for sharing this. A customer stopped into my store and said he had a gun that he was having some problems. I told him to bring it on in. He returns from his vehicle and opens a dirty, unassuming case and this was inside. My eyes immediately got huge! [Read More…]

I saw this Boba Fett inspired painted SCAR 16S at the Kinetic Development Group’s booth at Shot Show 2017. It was painted by JB Gates @baxta914. Here is a close up from Gate’s Instagram account.
It’s not quite as small as the World’s smallest Kalashnikov, but there’s a lot of impressive details in LittleArmory’s Kriss Vector SMG. Bear in mind, the size is only 130x210x20 mm, (or about 5″ x 8″ x 0,8″), so they’ve [Read More…]
