We got our hands on the new P10 C while we were roaming around SHOT Show 2017 and got to experience the pistol first hand. We are expecting a P10 C for review in the near future, stay tuned for that. We also got a chance to handle the new Shadow 2 and were nothing short of impressed.

This year Silencer not only introduced the new Maxum 9 pistol, but they also rolled out several new suppressor designs as well as refreshed some existing ones. The new Octane 45k takes the Octane 9k design and scales it up for the 45. They also refreshed the Saker lineup with the new ASR model featuring a new look as well as the trusted ASR mounting system.

The Arex Rex Zero 1 took the market by storm when it was introduced and has dominated several tests as well as recieved glowing reviews from everyone that has been able to review one. This year at SHOT two new models were introduced to fill customer requests. The new compact model is about the same size as most compact sized pistols on the market and the suppressor ready model features a red dot mount and adaptor plates, suppressor height sights, and a threaded barrel as standard. All models will be offered in black as well as FDE.

You know that MP5 sub gun upper that has been floating around the internet? We got a chance to handle those 3d printed prototypes and get more information about what they are and what the future holds for them.

STI makes some of the coolest double stack 1911s on the market. For 2017 they have introduced more guns for competitors, tactical shooters, and even concealed carriers.

Ballistic Advantage produces some rather high-quality barrels at a price that you can afford. With QPQ coated barrels starting at around $140 that still have a MOA guarantee, it is hard not to like what Ballistic Advantage is doing with their barrels.

CMC Triggers has teased a brand new GLOCK trigger product on their Facebook social media page. The teaser pics of the trigger indicate a flat trigger design with the standard GLOCK-style, inside-the-trigger safety tab. The CMC trigger has a unique 90 degree kick out at the bottom of the trigger designed for “speed and leverage”, according to CMC. CMC has refused to leak the trigger weight numbers, but they claim a marked improvement over the factory GLOCK trigger. The actual trigger part of the CMC GLOCK trigger is obviously machined metal as is the safety tab, as opposed to the stock GLOCK polymer trigger and safety.

Colt’s Manufacturing was on the firing line at the SHOT Show 2017 Industry Day at the Range, showing off their new handguns and rifles. Center stage was Colt’s re-entry to the double action wheelgun market, the reinvented Cobra. Unlike the previous Cobra, the new gun is all-steel, doing away with its nominal predecessor’s aluminum frame. This makes it closer to the old stainless fourth series Detective Special than the older Cobras, and therefore puts it in the same bracket as the S&W 640, Ruger SP101, and the new Kimber K6s.

The teaser photos have had us going for the last several months, and now Patrick with TFBTV gets a chance to put the bold claims of Texas-based Hudson to the test at Industry Day at the Range. With some innovative features there a pretty strong chance that the brand new Hudson H9 will be a fixture in the high-end striker fired gun segment for some time.

Just when I thought that MOLLE was the be all and end all of modular attachment systems, 5.11 Tactical just had to go out and improve upon it. Taking a page from the laminate materials that Blue Force Gear and Raine were putting to good use, the HexGrid takes the thin, light, and strong material adding in a new dimension to mounting MOLLE or PALS compatible pouches.

ERGO Grips is giving away a custom AR-15 at their SHOT Show booth. The rifle is worth $2,500 and includes components from Viking Armament, LANTAC USA, Vortex Optics and of course ERGO Grip. It is a fine looking firearm.
