Primary Arms recently added the Classic RD-25 Red Dot Sight that features push button operation to their lineup, which contrasts the knob-operated PA MD-25 in the SLx series. The new 25mm push button red dot sight harkens back to the style of early reflex sights like the Bushnell TRS-25, Aimpoints, hence its position in Primary Arms’ Classic Series of optics. This affordable 1x optic packs some surprising features for $129.99, so let’s dive in.

In today’s edition, you’re looking at a recent mishap where I was more focused on looking through my optic than I was making sure my muzzle was still far enough forward on my bag. In this particular case, I was running out of range time, making haste… and waste. The good news is that the zipper runners were both on the other side of the pouch, so I’ll be sewing up the zipper and patching the hole. This will hopefully mean that I’m only missing a couple inches of usable zipper space, this will buff out right?

Not sure how we missed posting about this, but Primary Arms has a mini reflex 12 O’clock mount for their MicroPrism optics. This allows you to mount a red dot sight over their SLx prismatic scopes.

If you’ve been visiting TFB regularly, you’ve probably noticed that Primary Arms has been busy releasing a number of new products this winter. We’ve recently announced new binoculars, a 1-6x LPVO optic, pistol red dot sights, and a 5x prism sight. Primary Arms has just announced the pre-order status for their new First Focal Plane (FFP) GLx rifle scopes in 3-18x44mm and 4.5-27x56mm with several reticle configurations, all of which are illuminated models.
