Not sure how we missed posting about this, but Primary Arms has a mini reflex 12 O’clock mount for their MicroPrism optics. This allows you to mount a red dot sight over their SLx prismatic scopes.

Almost two years ago, I reviewed Primary Arms’ SLx 1x MicroPrism. While it was only a 1x optic, they have come out with other versions. Coming soon is a 5x MicroPrism that I am currently reviewing so look for that soon. But today we are here to talk about their 12 O’clock mount.

A 12 O’clock mount for a red dot makes sense for a MicroPrism with more magnification. Now you can aim with a more heads up shooting position.

The 12 o’clock mount is sort of like a cage for the MicroPrisms. You position it over the optic and then bolt the whole thing to the riser or mount of your choosing. It is made of 6061 aluminum and the optic mounting pattern is GLOCK MOS. So it can mount any micro reflex optic you want.

The Primary Arms Mini Reflex 12 O’Clock mount is designed to be used with 3x and 5x Primary Arms MicroPrism sights allowing you to get even more versatility out of your magnified optic. This top mount is compatible with GLOCK MOS plates meaning you can easily find the perfect combination of 5x Prism and red dot sight. The 12 O’Clock reflex mount features a design that securely attaches to the optic base and allows you to quickly switch from your prism for medium ranges to a red dot for CQB. If you prefer an offset mount, check out the MDOM that is compatible with standard microdot footprints. Both of these mounts are made from 6061 aluminum and feature a black hardcoat anodized finish for long lasting durability. If you prefer a more heads up shooting position when transitioning from magnified optic to red dot sight, then the Primary Arms 12 O’Clock Mount is the one for you.

    Features:

    • Designed for 3x and 5x PAO MicroPrisms
    • GLOCK MOS adapter plate compatibility
    • Great for heads up shooting positions
    • Black anodized finish
    • Weight: 1.07 oz.
    • 6061 Aluminum construction
    • Primary Arms Lifetime warranty

The 12 o’clock mount retails for just $29.99, you do need to supply your own GLOCK MOS optic plates. You can get the factory GLOCK MOS optic plates or aftermarket ones. Here is a sneak peek at my review of the SLx 5x MicroPrism. I went with the Holosun SCS for direct mounting. No batteries to change and solar charged.
