Those of you in ban states can celebrate as there is a new concealed carry option now being made available to you that comes with its own blaster – the Jolster from Black Arch Holsters. The Jolster is an ambidextrous, Kydex open-ended holster that allows users to carry their jolt gun cocked with a round loaded in the muzzle. This holster bypasses H.R. 127 and H.R.8  and no background check or transfer fee is required! Huzzah!

I have yet to see the newest John Wick release, but this NERF gun parody had me laughing for a long time. YouTube channel Corridor  Digital released three minutes of awesomeness a few weeks back, substituting NERF guns for the real deal, but leaving the action and effects in place. This video is well worth your time.

This guy made a super Nerf dart gun. He uses metal pipe as a barrel and hooks up an air tank to it.

Hackerloop posted a video of an amputee hacking a Nerf Speedswarm dart blaster and combining it with an Elctromyogram (EMG) reader.

A mad scientist has put together a remote control A-10 Warthog that features a Nerf GAU-8 cannon tucked into its fuselage. You might be saying “but Patrick, this isn’t the Nerf blog.” Sure, it isn’t a firearm but sure is cool as hell.

Since I posted my Transformers inspired Walther P38 and the Nintendo Glock, there has been other toy inspired gun builds.

A 21 year old man, in Singapore, was arrested in his home after people reported seeing him wielding the gun shaped object, pictured above, at a local mass rapid transit station. Now I am all for people enjoying what makes them happy. Be it Nerf like guns painted black. Is it stupid to be exposing that to an ignorant public? Yes. Same thing goes with using airsoft in public. Not a good idea and brings unwanted attention. Singapore is a strict country. We all know the tales of caning due to graffiti and gum chewing. Well they take firearm related incidents very serious. Many of my friends in the Nerf community, in Singapore, have told me that the police watch them and have files on them. All for Nerf guns. Airsoft is contraband in Singapore. Caleb Kraft used the guts from a disposable camera flash and shoved them into a Nerf Mega Dart. The demonstration on the copper tape was more exciting then the live test fire. So it isnt a true taser. You do not become incapacitated, but you do receive a good shock. I have my doubts that this will work thru clothing. Unless he puts pointed barbs to penetrate thru clothing.

As a fan of pretty much anything that shoots a projectile, I found this interesting. A Nerf Sentry gun is nothing new. Ever since Hasbro came out with the N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 Nerf fans and college students have been mounting them onto computer controlled gimbles.

Boys will always be boys. Before guns they made pretend swords out of sticks. Before swords they made clubs. The invention of the gun presented unique challenges to boys the world over. My attempts at building a gun involved a lot of elastic and usually ended up being inefficient crossbows. Kids today have it easy. They just walk into a store (or Amazon.com) and buy a nerf gun.
