One of the nice things about the Great American Outdoor Show is to see some vendors who did not go to SHOT Show. Keystone Sporting Arms is one such company that does not attend SHOT Show. Their Crickett rifle has been a corner stone for many young shooters learning to responsibly shoot their first rifle. For a long time, the Crickett rifle style has been stagnant. Sure they expanded by making wooden and laminate stocks. But last year they started to modernize their rifle and make it more popular. They released the Crickett Precision rifle.

Accu-Tac is a California-based company that has been in the bipod business for a couple years now. They brought two models of their aluminum bipods to SHOT 2018 this year, the Long Range model and the F-Class model. The F-Class model has a Quick Detach Picatinny rail section that is connected to the bipod. Unlike a Harris or Versa-Pod design with the QD “tit” that hangs on the Picatinny rail, these Accu-Tac bipods completely come off the rail.

Earlier we had reported about the introduction of this rifle (MTs-343). TsKIB SOO has shown it again in the Arms & Hunting 2017 exhibition. We had a chance to talk to the designer and take some detailed pictures.

A company called Cerus Riflestocks makes very unique bolt-action rifle stocks. What sets them apart is that they use different types of woods and carbon fiber layers epoxied together to make sort of custom laminate stocks.

One of my goals for the 2017 SHOT Show was to meet up with some of the most innovative and forward thinking individuals in the firearms industry. Being the silencer nut that I am, at the top of my list was Delta P Design, known mostly for their Brevis line of 3-D printed suppressors. Luckily for me, I scheduled the Delta P meeting in the Kelbly’s Rifles booth – legendary in the long range precision world, Kelbly’s designs and sells world class aluminum actions as well as complete competition, hunting and tactical rifles.

Withing the cut-throat competitive world of F-Class shooters, there exists a sub-class dedicated for the two common military calibers, .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO and .308 Winchester. F-TR, which stands for “F-Class, Tactical Rifle”. F-TR tends to stretch the legs of both calibers, typically taking them well past their “normal” transonic ranges, which has led to a bit of a proverbial arms race.

Berger has announced that development on its long-awaited 6.5mm 130gr AR Hybrid OTM bullet has completed and the new bullet is entering production. From Berger’s blog:
