Today on The Rmifire Report, we’ll get into what this mysterious “OEM” load might be, how it performs, and what you can expect if you come across this rare CCI .22LR variant. [SHOT 2026] Murdoch & Co. Launch American-Made SA80s!
It’s no small feat designing a new firearm and it's arguably even more complicated recreating one. It has to look right, it has to feel right and you’re working within the confines of expectation. This year at SHOT Show Murdoch & Co. launched one of the most ambitious clone projects I’ve ever seen. Murdoch & Co. describe their EM-85 as an improved, remanufactured semi-auto SA80. The name EM-85, is a nod back to another classic British bullpup rifle, the EM-2.

The world of precision rimfire is wide and wonderful. [SHOT 2026] Trigger Time with the New FightLite DFX
At this year’s SHOT Show we had the chance to put a few rounds through Florida-based FightLite’s all new DFX, or Dual-Feed Conversion. FightLite talked us through the new guns and explained some of their features. The DFX is an upper receiver group which can be paired with any MIL-Spec AR-15/M16/M4 lower receiver. Like other FightLite firearms the DFX uses M27 linked ammunition belts (or AR-15/Stanag magazines). Unlike other FightLite weapons, however, the DFX doesn’t have a quick-change barrel which FightLite says aims to make the DFX simpler, cheaper and more streamlined for the customer.
