The Glock 19X was one of the big announcements at SHOT Show last year. In case you’ve been living under a 1911, the Glock 19X is essentially a Glock 17 frame with a Glock 19 slide. Whether you’re a fan of the new crossover Glock or not, they have been selling very well. If you’re someone who is into building 80% frames, good news! The folks over at the GlockStore just released their new Glock 19X 80% frame at SHOT Show 2019.
They’re calling it the GSX80. Like with their other 80% frames it’s made out of glass-filled polymer and it has a different grip texture and improved ergonomics. GlockStore also claims it’s more rigid compared to an OEM Glock frame. It uses OEM Glock mags, parts as well as OEM or aftermarket Glock 19 slides. GlockStore is also selling a builders kit to help you complete your 80% build. It includes the necessary drill bits and a drilling fixture.
Too lazy to finish the remaining 20%? GlockStore has you covered with their GSX100. It’s the same frame as the GSX80 but it’s complete, serialized and has to be purchased via an FFL. Both the GSX80 and GSX100 will require internal parts and a trigger to fully complete them.
They’re currently on pre-order for $129.95 at GlockStore.com with an anticipated ship date sometime in late February 2019.
Last year GlockStore released their Glock 43 80% lower frame, well now they’re available in multiple colors. Their SS80 uses standard OEM Glock mags, parts and slide but the frame has a different grip texture and trigger guard shape.
In addition to black, the SS80 is now available in Grey, OD Green, Flat Dark Earth and Sand (pictured above). The SS80 retails for $129.99 at GlockStore.com.
