In just a few short days Magpul have launched an army of new parts. Some are brand new, like the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 line of products which we told you about a few days ago and some are more of an extension of existing product lines.
Little did we know how right we were doing the Heckler & Koch Roller delayed blowback system as Friday’s Photo Of The Day, as Magpül released their brand new line of products for the MaschinenPistole 5 at about the same hour.
Some seem to think this is Magpul’s first product for Heckler & Koch and the MP5. It is not. There is a actually a Magpul PRS2® Precision-Adjustable Stock already, but I’m led to believe it’s not a high seller.
This just proves that the HK MP5 is 53 years young, and still going strong.
Magpul are a little eager to release these parts for the MP5. According to the information they will be available late 2019. They are not stocked yet, and there is no pricing available.

Magpul® SL Hand Guard – SP89/MP5K.
Compatible with the SP89/MP5K and clones with 5” barrel. Price To Be Announced
Product Details – SP89/MP5K
The Magpul SL Hand Guard for the SP89/MP5K is a high-strength, injection-molded polymer handguard solution that provides the user with improved ergonomics, anti-slip texturing, and M-LOK® slots for compatibility with modern accessories. It’s an injection-molded handguard solution for SP89/MP5K and clones that provides increased utility and enhanced control of the firearm. The SL Hand Guard offers M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, and features a large muzzle-end hand stop, similar to the HK “K” style handguard.

Magpul® SL Grip Module – HK94/93®/91® & Semi Shelf HK® Clones
Compatible with H&K MP5s and Reverse Stretch clones, HK91/93/94.
Product Details – SL Grip Module
The Magpul SL Grip Module provides enhanced ergonomics, TSP anti-slip texturing, grip storage, and an optimized grip angle for increased control of the firearm and ease of access to fire control components. Compatible with the HK94, 93®, 91®, and HK® clones equipped with a semi shelf receiver interface. The SL Grip Module is not compatible with swing-down lowers.

So where are the HK MP5 PMAG:s from Magpul?
That’s the question everyone is going to ask Magpul at SHOT Show.
I think the answer is that there is not enough room to do a Polymer magazine that is strong enough.
