SB Tactical just released some new accessories that will add more function to your brace. They offer a soft pouch and a mag holder that allows you to store items within the SB Tactical brace.

Anyone carrying for over a decade has likely gone through quite a few magazine pouches.  If one has carried a multitool daily, one has probably experienced the carrier wearing out or falling apart over time.  I have had all kinds of pouches over the years: nylon, leather, polymer, kydex, closed-top, open.  I’ve even been mandated to have “basket weave” magazine pouches on my old Sam Browne for work.  Most of the magazine pouches I’ve had over the years were model specific, or at least differentiated between working with single or double-stack mags. I’ve even had some double stack magazines, like those for the FNP-45 or USP-45 for example, not fit in pouches that supposedly take all double stack magazines.

Bravo Concealment reached out to Phil at the start of December to see if we wanted to put one of their Kydex outside the waistband holsters to the test. As the Senior Breaker-Of-Things, I was elected as the most likely to break or damage the holster during what I consider “normal” use and was sent one of Bravo Concealment’s BCA holster combos. Thankfully Bravo allowed me to configure the holster as I wanted to match my Glock …. or what it is on a journey to becoming.

Polenar Tactical is offering these mag pouches for AK mags. They are made by Stich Profi in Russia. They retail for €32,00 from Polenar Tactical. You can also get them from Stich Profi in Russia for €26.64. The pouch is unidirectional. They have a left and right handed version. They hold the mags bullets down so you can use the beer can grip to draw them out. From the video below, it looks like they are rocked out to release from the mag pouch.

Soldier Systems reported that HSGI is improving their popular TACO line of pouches.

Here’s something a bit different from the sea of operator gear out there. From Tactical Assault Gear is their MOLLE Shingle Pistol Enhanced Mag Pouch. So what’s the big deal? A company called MagHolder is making horizontal mag pouches for concealed carry handguns.  The polymer pouches clip to the belt and are the magazines are held in place by friction.
