Pistol compensators seem to be creeping into popularity within the concealed carry market and Faxon Firearms has been gradually expanding its lineup of EXOS pistol compensators to meet this new demand. Faxon Firearms is pleased to announce that they are adding the new EXOS-553 Pistol Compensator to expand their coverage to Glock Gen 5 pistols.

Compensators used to be something you’d only ever find on competition-oriented guns. It seems as the concealed carry community has grown, however, more and more people are opting to train and carry pistols with compensators on them. It is for this reason that Faxon Firearms has developed and added three brand new options to their growing EXOS pistol compensator lineup to include compatibility with some of the newest modern concealed carry handguns on the market.

Faxon Firearms has introduced a new series of pistol compensators called EXOS. These compensators feature one large top port for muzzle rise compensation and angled side slots that “allow gas to deflect upwards as opposed to only deflecting sideways, reducing up and down muzzle movement and improving reliability“. Let’s take a closer look.

In October of last year,  TFB posted these great pictures taken through the reticle of the Schmidt & Bender 3-21×50 EXOS, a rifle scope focused on hunting.
