Compensators used to be something you’d only ever find on competition-oriented guns. It seems as the concealed carry community has grown, however, more and more people are opting to train and carry pistols with compensators on them. It is for this reason that Faxon Firearms has developed and added three brand new options to their growing EXOS pistol compensator lineup to include compatibility with some of the newest modern concealed carry handguns on the market.

Faxon Firearms Expands the EXOS Pistol Compensator Line
2021 saw Faxon Firearms expand heavily on their pistol product offerings. In addition to adding several subcompact barrels to their lineup, they introduced their EXOS line of pistol compensators, with the earliest models being for compact pistols by Glock®, SIG®, and M&P®. Earlier this year, Faxon launched their first batch of EXOS compensators for subcompact (G43, G43X, G48). Now, the line expands even more with EXOS comps for M&P® Shield/Shield Plus, SIG® P365/P365 XL, and Glock® Gen 4 Compact handguns.
The latest release (launching 4.04.22) includes:
- EXOS-543 – for Glock® Gen 4 (G17, G19, G34)
- EXOS-525 – for SIG® P365 & P365 XL
- EXOS-524 – for M&P® Shield & Shield Plus
Previously released EXOS compensators include:
- EXOS-523 – for G43
- EXOS-533 – for G43X/48
- EXOS-513 – for Glock® Gen 3 and Faxon FX-19
- EXOS-514 – for M&P®
- EXOS-515 – for SIG®
In addition to the three new compensators being released for the Glock, SIG, and M&P carry pistols, Faxon also has plans to release EXOS pistol compensators for the Gen 5 Glock pistols later this year to further expand the lineup. Each of the EXOS pistol compensators is made from 6061 aluminum and features a unique porting design that reduces both muzzle climb and felt recoil for the shooter. Each compensator comes in a black anodized finish and will include all of the hardware plus a thread locker so it’s ready to install right out of the box. The new Exos-643, 525, and 524 will each be sold for $85.00 from the Faxon Firearms website and will come with a lifetime warranty.
