Pistol compensators seem to be creeping into popularity within the concealed carry market and Faxon Firearms has been gradually expanding its lineup of EXOS pistol compensators to meet this new demand. Faxon Firearms is pleased to announce that they are adding the new EXOS-553 Pistol Compensator to expand their coverage to Glock Gen 5 pistols.

New Faxon EXOS-553 Compensator for Glock Gen 5 Pistols
Designed specifically to work with the newest Gen 5 Glock pistols, the EXOS-553 is constructed from 6061 aluminum and features a black anodized finish. The single-port compensator is designed to reduce muzzle climb and recoil and will also deflect the gasses away from the shooter. Faxon’s EXOS-553 is also designed to work perfectly with Faxon Glock barrels and should be a flush fit with Faxon’s barrels as well as other aftermarket barrels that protrude 0.600 or less from the front of the slide.
While the Glock 17 and 19 are mainly duty and carry guns, the Glock 34 is well known within the competitive scene and the addition of a pistol compensator like the EXOS-553 should prove to be a popular option when compensators are allowed. The new EXOS-552 pistol compensator from Faxon Firearms is available for sale now for a price of $85 and comes with two 6-32 set screws, one 1/16 Allen wrench, and a thread locker.
