The New Strike KRISS Vector Picatinny Stock Adapter

Strike Industries is always at the forefront of providing their customers with innovative ways of making their guns more useful for them. The KRISS Vector pistol is one of those rigs that while compact, has limited use without a solid and stable platform to shoot from. Strike Industries is proud to introduce the new Strike KRISS Vector Picatinny Stock Adapter which will allow you to use either a pistol stabilizing brace or a standard rifle stock if you’ve converted your KRISS SDP to an SBR.

Manufacturers Rush To Export Thousands Of Pistol Stabilizing Braces As Amnesty Deadline Looms

With the on-paper legality of pistol stabilizing braces in question here in the United States, it appears that other countries and their militaries are taking advantage of the same equipment at a firesale price. According to a source within the pistol brace industry, manufacturers have made agreements with dozens of foreign groups to provide them with pistol stabilizer braces for various platforms including the AK-47, M4/AR-15 platform, as well as several large orders for PDW style braces, presumably for MP5 pistol platforms. Although adopting the use of pistol-stabilizing braces may seem strange for a military unit, American Mercenaries have used pistol braces in the past. As the pistol brace amnesty deadline looms over our heads, are pistol brace manufacturers making a desperate move to secure their livelihood?

VFGs, AOWs, PSBs and SBRs: A Return To Understanding The NFA

In the past few years, we have drilled down into the netherworld of NFA laws, attempting to determine the subtle differences between short barreled rifles (SBRs), Any Other Weapons (AOWs) and simply firearms. We’ve also reviewed the new ATF accessory classification process and gone over the use of the ATF eForm system that anyone can use to apply for “makers” NFA tax stamps. So we won’t be rehashing every minutia of firearms regulations in the U.S. But let’s discuss pistols, rifles, short barrels and braces – a small attempt to understand the NFA.

The majority of these buffer braces are permanently attached to the handgun stabilizer, lacking any ability to uninstall the buffer tube itself. Some of them even have Hera Arms Adaptors, giving useres the ability to collapse into two along the right side of the handgun.

[SHOT 2018] Machine Gun Armory Semi-Auto M249 "Pistol"

So far the only U.S. civilian legal semi-automatic version of the venerable M249 Squad Automatic Weapon was from the same company that makes the actual machine gun, FN Herstal. However, we recently learned about another semi-automatic M249, from Utah based Machine Gun Armory. The company has usually dealt with Military, LE, and international customers in the select fire and fully automatic departments, going to such events as SOFEX held in Jordan. But at SHOT 2018 we were able to get our hands on Machine Gun Armory’s semi-automatic civilian legal M249, know as the MGA Mk46 at the company. I asked a representative if their firearms were made using FN Herstal parts kits, or how much was actually made in-house but didn’t get a clear answer. One major point setting their builds apart from the FN ones are that the MGA Mk46s don’t have a STANAG magazine port. Not a bad subtraction really.

Fang Stabilizer Review

The High Speed Shooting Stabilizer Fang is a neat product that we first reported on some months ago. We got our hands on one to test it in person. The device was pioneered by a fellow named James Renteria, a former Marine himself (aren’t we everywhere?), who developed the concept using 3D printers at home in Florida. Currently, his website offers the Fang in addition to the HABU cheek rest/charging handle.
