POTD: SIG Sauer P322 .22LR – A-Tec Wave Carbon Suppressor
You’re watching and reading TFB’s Photo Of The Day, and we’re guessing you clicked on this article to get some more details? Well, here we go. The pistol is a SIG Sauer P322 chambered in .22LR. It’s a pistol which, in my experience, is not so well known. I was about to get a Glock 44 .22LR, and had literally made up my mind when I was lucky to discover the SIG. This is my first SIG handgun, a fun little plinker that doesn’t make a lot of sounds when configured like this. It holds 20+1 rounds, and the slide takes a red dot.
[EnforceTac 2023] The Heckler & Koch HK437 with A-TEC Suppressors
One of the highlights each year is Heckler & Koch‘s booth at EnforceTac. It’s easy to underestimate this two-day exhibition and its importance for defense and homeland security. About 8,000 people from about 70 countries come to the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg each year, which may look like a low figure but Enforce Tac is a trade fair for professionals from government agencies with security responsibilities and the armed forces only. Next year the exhibition will grow with one more exhibition hall, and one day extra, and we’re already looking forward to 2024. Heckler & Koch has its natural place here, and their booth is always crowded. In this article we will focus on the HK437 in 7″ and 9″ configurations. We wish we could take even better pictures than these, but you have to fight to even get a short glimpse of these things.
TFB Review: Infiray FAST FAL19 – Red Dot Thermal Fusion Sight
This is a review of the Infiray Fast FAL19 34mm Red-Dot Thermal Fusion Scope. TFB were among the first to get a sample to try out this brand-new product and technology, and we had a lot of fun doing so. The FAL19 sight offers a combination between an EOTech-style reticle and a thermal overlay, for a thermal fusion effect. If you don’t need the thermal (and want to save batteries), there is a simple red or green dot only also.
TFB Review: A-TEC PMM-6 Pistol Suppressor
This is a review of the A-TEC PMM-6 suppressor, mostly attached to the Glock 45. A-TEC is a Norwegian company, and it may seem odd for an American-focused firearms blog to review something Americans can’t buy. However TFB has readers all over the world, and A-TEC has a strong position in the European suppressor market. For instance, A-TEC and Heckler & Koch recently entered into cooperation “in the areas of development and sales“, and the outcome will be very interesting.
TFB Review: InfiRay Clip 1 and Jerry C Clip-On Thermal Imagers
This is a review of the InfiRay Clip 1 CE2 and Jerry C C5 clip-on thermal imagers (COTI). These small wonders of technology will snap directly onto the ring of a PVS-14 night vision device. Once set and installed, you will get configurable thermal detection capabilities on top of your night vision.
Sweden Makes Suppressors License Free
Finland and Norway already have very generous legislation and traditions for suppressors, and today Sweden joins the club. The new legislation means that suppressors should no longer be considered a firearm part and they no longer require a specific license to possess, as long as you have a permit to own the firearm onto which the suppressor fits.
Heckler & Koch and A-TEC Enter Cooperation
According to a communication from Heckler & Koch Germany, the company has entered an “extensive cooperation in the areas of development and sales” together with the Norwegian specialist in suppressors A-TEC. Heckler & Koch may not need another introduction on TFB, but for those who don’t know A-TEC, they are a Norwegian manufacturer of suppressors for hunters, sport shooters as well as law enforcement and military customers.
POTD: Heckler & Koch Rifles with A-Tec Suppressors
In our Photo Of The Day, we’re going to take a look at suppressors from A-TEC in Norway. There may be some Heckler & Koch content here as well. The A-TEC company was founded in 1999, in a garage as many other start-ups. The mission was to make better silencers than the ones that existed.
POTD: Hunting with Benelli M4 and A-Tec A12 Suppressor
A late start to the grouse hunt is better than no hunt at all – that is the topic for Today’s Photo Of The Day as we go to “Borgafjäll” in Southern Lappland.
