Palmetto State Armory continues to add to its Sabre line with the new Sabre-10A1. This new model echoes some of the styling of the new M-110A1 but keeps it in the price bracket that PSA is known for. Let’s dig into some specs.

There are two models of Sabre-10A1, one with billet receivers and one with forged receivers. Both are chambered in .308 Winchester. Regardless of receiver material, both feature 16-inch barrels with mid-length gas systems. These barrels are 416R stainless steel with a 1-in-10 twist rate that can handle heavy bullets.
Unlike the actual M110A1, which uses a short-stroke gas piston, the PSA model is a traditional direct impingement AR. It is definitely more of an homage to the M110A1 than a clone or a “kinda clone.” The billet version retails for $1299.99, while the forged receiver model costs $1199.99. And, unlike the M110A1, you can actually buy one today directly from Palmetto State Armory.

Barrel: 16″ 416R. Chambered in .308, with a 1:10 twist, and a mid-length gas system. Barrel is finished off with a 15″ QD Rail Burn Bronze, and a Sabre Compensator muzzle device.
Upper: Billet 7075 AR upper is cerakoted with Moss Green.
Bolt Carrier Group: Sabre AR-10 BCG with Sprinco Gas Rings and OCK’s Gas Key Fasteners
Lower: Sabre-10 lower with B5 Sop-Mod stock and Sabre grip. Moss Green cerakote finish. Marked multi-caliber. Comes Standard with PSA AR-10 Rifle Buffer Spring, Sabre 9 Position S5 Buffer tube, Sabre 2-Stage DLC Trigger, and Anti-Walk Pins.
