Palmetto State Armory released its Sabre line of premium AR-15 rifles a short while back. This past week they added their new Sabre AR-10 available in both forged and billet models with barrel lengths ranging from 13.7in (348mm) to 20in (508mm), featuring Springco upgrades like the gas rings, extractor spring, and ejector spring as well as a Radian Raptor charging handle and Talon selector. The Sabre AR-10 comes with a lot of the aftermarket upgrades people install in their rifles, right from the factory.

The Sabre AR-10 looks to be a fine addition to PSA’s already eclectic lineup of firearms. I’m seriously eyeing one up if I could ever shake my addiction to combloc weapons and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. What do you the readers think? Let us know in the comment section below!

I have no problem admitting I'm what the cool rich kids here call one of "the poors" - I'm lucky that I always wasn't but I certainly don't have the money to just order up an HK 762 LRP etc. despite how much I might want one.

So operating under the assumption I'm seriously asking about actual quality and quality-to-price ratio, I'm curious - I never messed with PSA, no real reason why I just never did - so how are these rifles? Because the FDE Sabre .308 packages look pretty damn sweet. It says they're out of stock so I'm not sure the full price but it looks like the regular Sabre's are $1200-1300 ...

It just , TO ME, this looks like a clone of an KAC / SR-25 ... and while that might be one of my dream rifles, I'll just never have one ... but if this is something I could save for and still have fun shooting , it might be worth considering ... Just curious about the overall quality and if there's anything I'm not noticing or not realizing - for example "Well it doesn't have THIS feature..." ... or "well they cheaped out and did THAT... " etc. Thanks very much.

@Ser Arthur Dayne I’m local to PSA. Every product of theirs I have seen (I have some, too) has had major big flaws. Obvious ones. I’m certain that this is like a statistic anomaly or something, but I wouldn’t expect them to live up to your KAC dreams.
