Franklin Armory Releases G-S173 Glock Binary Trigger

Franklin Armory Releases G-S173 Glock Binary Trigger

Franklin Armory is now shipping their G-S173 Glock binary trigger and slide system. It converts a Gen 3 Glock 17 to fire on the pull and release of the trigger. Let’s take a closer look.

    Franklin Armory @ TFB:

Binary triggers derive their name from firing two shots per trigger pull cycle. This effectively doubles the rate of fire. “But what if you pull the trigger and decide not to fire the second shot?” Franklin Armory has already thought of that. Just flip the selector switch from binary back to semi and the trigger can be released without firing again. It fits all standard Gen 3 Glock 17 frames, which have become the market standard for DIY striker-fired pistol builds with brands like Polymer80.

Note the selector switch on the side of the slide.

The G-S173 is not cheap, coming in at $899. That is more expensive than any pistol direct from Glock. However, it does include some nice upgrades like tritium night sights and an optics cut. The G-S173 is in stock and ready for order as of writing. You can find it here.
