New Brownells BRN-9 Upper

    New Brownells BRN-9 Upper

The Brownells BRN family of upper receivers continues to grow with the addition of the BRN-9. This 9mm upper joins the 5.56, .300 BLK, and 7.62×39 options which are already available. Let’s take a closer look at what the BRN-9 brings to the table.

Like the other BRN uppers, the BRN-9 does not require a buffer tube / receiver extension. This means it can fire with the stock folded. However, it also works on all standard AR lowers and would work with a standard AR stock if that is the user’s preference. As one would expect, the BRN-9 barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for easy suppressor compatibility.

The BRN-9 also feeds from a broad range of magazines. Yes, that includes Glock mags. However, options like the MP-5, Colt SMG, and CZ Scorpion are also on the menu, provided that the lower functions with them.
