Smith & Wesson chose SHOT Show 2023 to unveil their new M&P 5.7 pistol. This feature-packed pistol sports a factory-threaded barrel and magazines that carry a whopping 22 rounds. I had a chance to look over the M&P 5.7 on the show floor today and here’s what I found.

The grip was way too thin for its length, very uncomfortable compared to the FN or PSA guns. But the barrel lockup and fixed sleeve looks like a great design - totally sidesteps the problem of rotating barrels with threaded attachments. Wonder how dirty it gets between the sleeve and barrel.
Right price tag! FN 57 have to worry!
