HEVI-Shot have announced the 2023 additions to their catalog of high-performance hunting shotgun ammunition. The 2023 HEVI-Shot products include a new line called HEVI-Metal Xtreme and multiple load and gauge extensions of eight HEVI-Shot ammunition lines. New HEVI-Shot 2023 Shotgun Ammunition

HEVI-METAL XTREME

A layer of HEVI-Shot’s original 12 g/cc HEVI-XII tungsten pellets (30 percent) is stacked over steel pellets (70 percent) in this all-new load. The dense tungsten pellets are three shot sizes smaller than the steel pellets to ensure both layers have equal downrange performance. The load features the FLITECONTROL FLEX® wad for consistent long-range patterns and is set to blistering velocities. Available in four 12- and 20-gauge loads.

HEVI-18 TSS Turkey

TSS brings best-in-class performance to the turkey market with 18 g/cc density pellets in No. 7 and 9 shot. The loads provide high pellet counts, long-range lethality and incredibly tight patterns thanks to the friction-free, sealed-in-the-shell spherical buffer. Now available in reduced-recoil 12- and 20-gauge loads, as well as 28 gauge.

HEVI-BISMUTH UPLAND

Hit upland birds harder with the power of 9.6 g/cc HEVI-Bismuth. The loads are safe for classic and modern shotguns and available to in a full line of options, including new offerings in 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge, and .410.

HEVI-BISMUTH WATERFOWL

HEVI-Bismuth is safe for both modern and classic waterfowl shotguns. Its 9.6 g/cc pellets allow shooters to drop a shot size from their go-to steel payload. Now there’s a choice for every wingshooter, with offerings from .410 to 10 gauge, including two new 28-gauge loads.

HEVI-HAMMER WATERFOWL

Meticulously layered non-toxic bismuth (15 percent of the payload) over steel gives you more range with added density, tighter patterns and improved shot strings. Available in a wide selection of 12- and 20-gauge options, including new 3 1/2-inch 12-gauge No. 2, 4 and BB.

HEVI-HAMMER UPLAND & DOVE

Increase your success in the field with tighter patterns, higher speeds and more power. With 15 percent high-density bismuth layered over 85 percent steel pellets, HEVI-Hammer packs nearly 50 percent more power than steel at 40 yards. Both bismuth and steel feature the same shot size for the energy that hits like a hammer. Available in new No. 3, 5 and 7 loads in 12 and 20 gauge.

HEVI-XII

The original 12 density HEVI-Shot, HEVI-XII hits harder from a longer distance. Its pellet material is 53.8 percent denser than steel–doubling the downrange energy. Drop three shot sizes for the same lethality and 28 percent more devastating pellets on target. Available in a full line of loads, including new No. 2, 4 and 6 offerings in 12 and 20 gauge.

MAGNUM BLEND

Ounce for ounce, dollar for dollar, this is the most lethal turkey shell on the market. Like the original HEVI-Shot load, Magnum Blend offers three shot sizes (5, 6 and 7) in a single shell. The 12 g/cc cast tungsten lets you drop one shot size from lead for the same lethality. These heavy loads really pack some punch–437 deadly pellets in a single 12-gauge, 3-inch shell. Now available in 3-inch 28 gauge.
