Fierce Firearms MTN REAPER Bolt Action Rifle

Fierce Firearms has introduced a new lighter-weight version of their Reaper bolt action rifle dubbed MTN Reaper. The lightest configuration of the MTN Reaper rifle (short action with 18″ barrel) weighs 5.8lbs. The weight reduction is achieved by using a titanium action, magnesium alloy chassis, carbon fiber wrapped barrel as well as carbon fiber stock and handguard.

The new MTN Reaper rifle is built with a Fierce Firearms Rival titanium action that features a DLC-coated spiral fluted 2-lug bolt, 70-degree bolt throw, EDM cut bolt raceways, two position safety and a top 0-MOA Picatinny rail. The action is bedded into the magnesium alloy chassis via a custom bedding system. The carbon fiber stock is folding and has an adjustable cheekpiece. The rifle is fed from Accurate-Mag detachable box magazines and has a paddle-style mag release lever. The Bix’n Andy trigger that these rifles come with is adjustable within a 1 to 3 lb range. The chassis is fitted with a carbon fiber M-LOK handguard, ERGO pistol grip and is Cerakoted with Black, Tungsten and Bronze color options available.

Fierce Firearms MTN Reaper rifle is available in the following chambering options: 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7mm PRC, 7mm Rem Mag, .308 Win, .300 Win Mag, and .300 PRC. Depending on the cartridge, the barrel length can be 18″, 20″, 22″ or 24″. The long action version of the rifle with the longest 24″ barrel is still quite light weighing in at 6.6 lbs. The match-grade Fierce C3 carbon fiber barrels are hand lapped, threaded with the 5/8×24 thread pitch and come equipped with Fierce Firearms NIX muzzle brakes. The accuracy is guaranteed to be half-MOA at 100 yards.
