Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 31. Last week we had a great opportunity to hear from some of the most well-established names in the gun podcasting world and this week we’re going to do some more of the same. This week’s selection covers a variety of topics from some more well-known gun podcasts including the Handgun World Podcast, The Handgun Radio Show, The Reloading Podcast, and the 180 Firearms Training Podcast. Each of these podcasts is pretty well established and the Reloading Podcast is one of my favorites to listen to while I’m reloading, ironically enough. Hopefully, you’ll find something here to keep you occupied as you enjoy the start of your week.

TFB Podcast Roundup 31: Expensive Guns, Ballistic Gel, and YHM
Length: 1 Hour 7 Minutes
Subjects: The guys from the Reloading Podcast talk all about ballistic gel
The ballistic gel is one of those interesting fringe topics within the firearms industry that you see quite often but probably have never even touched. The recent release of 30 Super Carry has brought gel tests back into mind for me and this podcast by the gang was a great refresher on the subject.
Hello, and welcome to the Reloading Podcast here on the Firearms Radio Network.
Tonight the gang is talking about ballistic gel.
Length: 35 Minutes
Subjects: Everything handguns! Also readings from The Handgun Radio Podcat’s recent “Taken Loadout” contest
Hello and welcome to Handgun Radio! I’m your host Ryan Michad from the wild woods of Central Maine, and this is your home for all the news, information and discussion in the handgunning world.
This week, we read the entries from the Taken Loadout contest!
Length: 35 Minutes
Subjects: All in the title – Expensive Guns!
The guys over at the Handgun World Podcast discuss a very important question that quite often devices the handgun world. Expensive guns and whether they are effective or not. The guys go over the pros and cons of each and debate the various merits of the expensive guns out there. Listen to find out what they conclude!
This week I talk about expensive guns and if they really effective or not?
Length: 1 Hour 8 Minutes
Subjects: Training, competition, and instructing. This episode has a little bit of everything
Coach Kita Busse of 180 Firearms Training, Grant Chancellor-Maddison, and Sam Callahan of www.callahantraininggroup.com talk about firearms instruction. Sam and Grant talk about taking the Smart Move class on movement for practical shooting with Coach Kita. Sam talks about his journey into competition shooting and instruction. He also discusses other hobbies like cross-fit, mountain biking, and how he broke several bones on his wedding day and didn’t let that slow him down!
Callahan Training Group uses the way we as humans learn best, breaking it down into bite size pieces. He explains concepts in ways that are easy to process and apply. Sam teaches shooters of all levels and backgrounds. His classes are also great preparation for the Smart Move and Train Smart classes by Coach Kita of 180 Firearms Training. Be sure to check out the Callahan Training Group T-Shirts available at www.callahantraininggroup.com!
Length: 14 Minutes
Subjects: Host of the TFB Behind the Gun Podcast, Pete, talks with Chris and Andrew from Yankee Hill Machine
YHM has been a proud sponsor of the TFB Behind the Gun podcast for a number of years now and without their support we wouldn’t be able to bring you great interviews from within the gun industry. Today, our host, as well as Editor in Chief of The Firearm Blog Pete, has on Chris and Andrew from Yankee Hill Machine to talk all about how the company has survived and thrived through the last couple of tumultuous years and what some of their plans and products are for the future of 2022 and beyond. Please sit back and relax and enjoy this episode of the TFB Behind the Gun Podcast.
That’s all the listening we’ve got for this week! Be sure to check back in next week for another TFB Podcast Roundup and as always, please feel free to let us know about any great podcasts you’re listening to in the firearms world.
