TFB Podcast Roundup 30: Italy, Adaptive Shooting, and Supply Chains

TFB Podcast Roundup 83: Everyone is Worried About the Future

Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 30. For this week’s roundup, I’ve gathered a wider variety of topics than previous roundups and these ones are all quite interesting from my perspective. We have topics ranging from gun law and gun culture in Italy with our very own Giorgio O, as well as an in-depth look at the gun industry supply chain and how that affects us as gun owners. Other episodes include a good episode featuring Omar “Crispy” Avila of the Medevac Podcast and a new episode of the Vortex Nation Podcast featuring famed hunter and outdoorsman Steven Rinella. As always, sit back, relax, grab a good drink and enjoy the selection or TFB Podcast Roundup 30. Suggestions for fresh listening are always welcome in the comments below.

Firearms Nation Podcast 184: JJ Racaza – New Concepts in Performance Shooting
    Play

    Length: 76 Minutes

Subjects: Friend of TFB, TFBTV, and World Champion pistol shooter JJ Racaza comes on the Firearms Nation Podcast to talk about how the performance shooting scene is seeing some pretty significant changes.

The most amazing thing about world champion JJ Racaza is not just his shooting ability, but his humility. He works hard to make sure his students understand his concepts, and he always takes the time to reveal the nuggets of instruction. Those nuggets are gold.

I’ve trained three times with JJ and spoke to him on this podcast before. I feel like I grew as a shooter each time, however, this past class I had some amazing revelations about my shooting. Now I have to continue with the training.

JJ started shooting as a teen and has won numerous championships in practical pistol and steel challenge. He also found time to serve in law enforcement as well as becoming a highly sought-after trainer.

Subjects: Glock discussing the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit

Coach Kita Busse of #180firearmstraining is joined by Glock Team Shooter Jim Kuzak and DaVinci Machining PCC Team Shooter Mike Seiffert.

Adaptive shooters are incredibly resourceful in finding intelligent ways to get things done in an unconventional manner. Jim has managed to virtually eliminate the margin between himself in a wheelchair and able-bodied shooters. Jim shares tips and tricks for adaptive shooters, and how he took 11 seconds off a medium field course in just one day!

ADSS, The Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit is a place where adaptive shooters or those interested in becoming shooters can gather to learn and share ideas. This is where Jim learned of the Ibot Mobius Mobility wheelchair, which has made a huge impact on his ability to get around a stage, shoot through ports, and shoot from an aggressive lean. He can even go up steps!

A huge thanks to our police officers everywhere for making the sacrifices you have. Jim shares the story of his sacrifice while on duty. He was shot 5 times and is wheelchair bound, but not even a bullet can stop this man! Jim has a motivating story of picking himself up and living out his passions.
