Safariland news @ TFB:
Safariland®, a brand of The Safariland Group, a leading global provider of safety products designed for the public safety, military, professional, and outdoor markets is proud to announce that the 575 GLS Pro-Fit IWB Holster has been selected as Holster of the Year by Guns & Ammo Magazine. This inside-the-waistband holster design was chosen for the award by editors, contributors, and staff of the magazine.
Holster of the Year: The Safariland 575 GLS Pro-Fit
The 575 GLS Pro-Fit holster uses Safariland’s GLS (Grip Locking System) to add another level of security to your firearm. The active retention is released with your middle finger during your normal draw stroke. The IWB holster is made from a proprietary nylon blend, called SafariSeven, that protects the finish on your firearm. To give you a solid grip on the draw, the holster is low-cut to expose more of the grip.
The holster features a fully adjustable cant, as well as two clip options; one over the belt and one under. The 575 is also made to accommodate pistol optics. Temperature tolerances range from -50 degrees Fahrenheit, all the way up to 300 degrees. MSRP is $68.00.

Safariland does a nice job with R&D and puts out some great holsters, especially models with active retention.
I really wish Safariland offered more light bearing options. This holster looks super slick, though! I really like the idea of positive retention for ccw that is passive like this.
