In this Photo Of The Day we have left the cheapest rimfires and dug a bit deeper into the wallet, yet not crazy expensive. We have a Tikka T1x bolt action rifle in .22 LR with  GRS Bifrost stock and a Lothar Walther barrel. The scope is a Vortex Eagle Strike 5-25×56. Is it any good? Today’s Photo Of The Day comes from the Italian company Breda. The photo shows a shotgun barrel in three of its production stages.

Uronen Precision from Finland are known for their competition AR-15 rifles. The ones I’ve tried shoot really accurately.

This is the first prototype of the Kalashnikov-AR, KAR-16, in 7,62×39 mm from Finland.

In 2014 I saw the first Breda AR-15s at the IWA exhibition.

Monsieur Benjamin Gineste (France) has successfully shot a target at 4150 meters, or 4540 yards.

Today’s photo is a 7.5″ 300 Blackout. AR-15 format, but Low Visibility Gear and a lot of fun to shoot.

Varminter Magazine posted this video. They went to three barrel manufacturers during SHOT Show 2016 to find out if a shooter should break in their rifle barrel. They got responses from Shilen Rifles, Krieger Barrels, and Lothar-Walther.

At the 2016 SHOT Show, Walther had a sprawling booth, furnished with backlit tables displaying their extensive lineup of German-made handguns. The star of the show for Walther was the new PPS M2, a restyling/ergonomic improvement of the original single stack Walther 9mm, the PPS. In fact, the PPS M2 was supposed to be Walther’s big SHOT Show announcement, but its announcement was leaked a month early by accident through a news outlet. Even so, Walther was happy to show off their new single stack, advertising its front and rear slide serrations, smooth trigger, pushbutton magazine release, and improved ergonomics.
