Honor Defense is a newer gun company making the Honor Guard compact pistol. In an apparent attempt to offer its customers more options, the company is now offering a greater variety of frame colors. As some other manufacturers have discovered, there is a significant number of shooters that want guns in colors that cannot be described as “tactical.”

Honor Defense is seemingly going through a fairly rapid expansion of its line of Honor Guard pistols. These 9mm compact handguns were introduced in 2015, and as of May 2017, the company now offers 16 different variations of the gun. This would certainly suggest the guns have enjoyed some commercial success.

Lone Wolf Distributors, one of the original and possibly the ultimate authority on aftermarket Glock components, has quietly introduced color options on their “Ultimate Adjustable Trigger”. Originally released in bare aluminum silver color only, the new colors are a welcome addition to anyone like myself who enjoys shooting custom firearms. Color plays a major role in the custom firearm process.

Just about every online guide specifies the use of the liquid Rit brand dye, but at about five bucks per color the cost can add up quick if you are dyeing several different colors.

Eagle Imports announced a new series of Bersa Thunder pistols that sport a variety of non-traditional colors. Eagle Imports, the United States based importer of Bersa firearms, has partnered with gun distributer Davidson’s on this project.

Deep South Precision, Inc., a company that makes it its business to specialize in the customization of its rifles, will be producing MSRs in Mossy Oak. The camo finish use is the result of an agreement Deep South struck with Hass Outdoors, Inc., the company that owns the licensing rights to the Mossy Oak patterns being used.
