BIGGER BLK: Announcing the B&T USA Advanced Precision Rifle In 8.6BLK

Physics is an unrelenting mistress, especially when we are discussing terminal ballistics.  I am the last guy you want explaining high school physics, but Newton’s laws of motion apply whether you are a target shooter, a hunter, or a soldier. All things being equal more mass traveling at higher velocities will result in a greater transfer of energy. Factoring subsonic velocities into the equation makes transferring that energy even more challenging. B&T USA has stepped into the world of bigger subsonic cartridges with the B&T USA Advanced Precision Rifle in 8.6BLK.

New B&T ROTEX-X Suppressor Now Shipping

Suppressor junkies rejoice! The latest 5.56 suppressor from B&T is finally shipping! The ROTEX-X Suppressor is a lightweight version of the ROTEX-V which is currently in use with NATO allies over in Europe. The ROTEX-X apparently maintains the same performance as its heavier predecessor but manages to somehow weigh 20% less than the ROTEX-V. This reduction in weight should translate to a similar reduction in the point of aim/point of impact while still providing great sound and flash suppression. The new suppressor is on sale and shipping now from your B&T retailers and is sold for an MSRP of $675. TFB’s Editor in Chief Pete will have a full review of the ROTEX-X suppressor coming up in about two weeks, so be sure to check out his review over on Silencer Saturday to get the lowdown on it.
