Two cornerstone suppressor companies have just announced an agreement on a quick detach (QD) suppressor mounting system collaboration. B&T USA and SureFire have reached a partnership where B&T has the exclusive rights to manufacture suppressors that utilize SureFire QD attachments.

The B&T ROTEX-X series of suppressors utilize the SureFire mounting system and reduces weight by 20% over previous ROTEX generations. MSRP for the ROTEX-X is $675. More information can be found on the B&T USA site.

Tampa, FL (March 27th, 2023) – B&T USA is excited to announce B&T and SureFire LLC. have reached an agreement where B&T has the exclusive rights to manufacture suppressors that mount to SureFire’s patented SOCOM Fast-Attach® line of suppressor-mounting muzzle devices. While SureFire’s SOCOM Fast-Attach® mounting design remains proprietary and patented, this agreement will benefit B&T customers with additional muzzle device options and SureFire muzzle device customers with additional suppressor options. So, was B&T using this without license, along with potentially everyone else, before? Or was there a non-exclusive agreement, or something?

  @HLS30 I wonder if they have the same "solution" I.e. the literal surefire answer to removing a carbon locked can:
  Shoot it off / launch it down range.
  I've seen TFB and other vids of the SureFire suppressor facility tour, with all the fancy hi-tech millions of dollar laser welding, cnc machines, and that's the best they can come up with? An inferior out dated mount that will carbon lock, and the textbook by the book solution is to shoot it off. I assume being an NSN / government contract item is what has kept it in that stagnate configuration with no update to improve upon it, its just locked into the original as per contract design that they milk the government for.

  @HLS30 😂 Like I get it, it's "durable" or "bomb proof" construction and other buzz words used to "cope" as the term kids use nowadays. But if launching your $1000+ investment down range into dirt is a desirable trait because it's "hard use" then more power to ya ✊
