B&T to Release ARs Based on Hodge Defense MOD1 and MOD2 Guns

Hodge Defense Systems has become a hot-ticket name in the AR-15 world in recent years. Their rise to popularity brought with it an air of exclusivity, as their products created enough demand to sometimes necessitate “drop”-style releases that would sell out in minutes. B&T has dabbled in AR-style and similar firearms before, including a prior collaboration with German manufacturer C.G. Haenel. Now the vaunted Swiss firm is set to enter a new partnership, this time with Hodge, to offer a new AR series. It will be called the BT-15 HD, based on Hodge’s extant MOD 1 and MOD 2 designs. These new B&T/Hodge ARs are estimated to be slated for a mid-2024 release and should be offered in either 11.5″ or 16″ variants.

Best Expensive 9mm Carbine: H&K MP5 vs. B&T APC-9

Two of the best pistol caliber carbines in the game: The LEGENDARY Heckler & Koch MP5 faces off today against the B&T APC-9. The H&K MP5 has been the gold standard for PCCs or SMGs for nearly 60 years, while the B&T APC-9 is newer, having been invented by the Swiss group Brugger & Thomet in 2011. While the B&T doesn’t have the long legacy enjoyed by the MP5, the APC-9 is the first SMG that has been adopted by the U.S. Army since World War II. Which one is the top dog in 2023?

Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to TFB’s Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the new YHM Turbo T3 5.56 rifle suppressor. This week we dive into a classic pairing that is becoming more and more prevalent every year in the United States – H&K and B&T. Specifically, the B&T SQD RBS – Super Quick Disconnect and Reduced Backpressure System 9mm suppressor – on the H&K MP5 and MP5K sub-machine guns. Christmas Gun Stuff: My Letter to Santa This Year

Dear Santa Claus,
While I freely acknowledge that I thoroughly deserve a stocking full of coal this Christmas, as has been the case every year for more than three decades running, hear me out: guns are awesome. Also, I know where you live – seriously, the North Pole isn’t hard to find – so don’t make me come after you. Therefore, I hereby present a list of firearms-related Christmas presents I’d appreciate you leaving under my tree at zero dark thirty on 25 DEC 2022. When you infil the chimney, just watch out for my claymore Roomba; he’s a spicy little robot and if shrapnel shreds the mistletoe, my wife will be displeased.
