Strike Industries, a company never resting on its laurels, has just released a second accessory for the popular CZ Scorpion EVO PCC. This time they focused their attention on the magazine release, a component which has already seen some efforts from the competition (as seen here and here). This denotes that there is a potentially good market for the accessory and Strike Industries’ combination of innovative design and affordability will surely get a share of it.

The Strike Industries Magazine Release for the CZ Scorpion EVO is a lightweight, high-strength polymer solution that enables the user to depress the magazine Release utilizing only one hand. Whereas the original design requires two hands to disengage a magazine, the Strike Industries Magazine release has added fins on both sides of the trigger guard that allow the shooter to use their shooting finger to hit the release, freeing the other hand of that burden, allowing for overall faster reloads and quicker reloads lead to more rounds on target in a shorter amount of time.

The product seems to diversify from the competition by adding wings along the bottom of the trigger guard, allowing operation also by pushing down on them. For those with longer fingers, this feature allows the tip of the finger to be fully supported in any condition, for positive operation without any risk of slippage.

You may end up taking more than 59 seconds (especially if the spring decides to hop around…) but overall it is a straightforward operation requiring only basic skills.
