TFB’s Photo Of The Day is more than a bunch of photos, it’s also the crazy story that the rifle shown here went to the highest bidder at $47,049. The rifle is a Novekse 14.5″ Afghan in 6mm ARC. I recently fired my first rounds with 6mm ARC, and yes I wouldn’t mind one for shooting DMR or even hunting. The suppressor is a CGS Hunter V1, and the scope is a Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x.

Description of the Item:

Novekse 14.5″ Afghan 6mm ARC

CGS Hunter V1 Silencer *unobtanium*
Leupold Mark 5hd 2-10 Scope
Leupold Delta Point Pro NV Red Dot
Irregular Defense Feer Riser Blk
Badger Ordnance C.O.M. 35 MM 1.54 NV Height mount
Badger Ordnance Delta Point Pro 12 o’clock mount
Wilcox Raid XE Laser
Noveske Offset Light Body, Malkov Scout Light head and Surefire Remote Pressure Switch
Custom Butane Cerakote by Noveske

DONATED BY: Noveske, CGS, Irregular Defense, Wilcox, Badger Ordnance, Leupold

Recently another Noveske, an 8.125″ 9mm Crye Baby went for $50,100.

As usual, we’re curious what you think about the rifle itself, the paint job and the price. Let it RIP!

Why’s the mag curved like a 7.62x39 one? And before anyone says it: no, its not because 6mm ARC…that cartridge has very little body taper and will feed with a 5.56 amount of curve.

It's a charity auction folks. That why the price it up there.
