POTD: USASOC International Sniper Competition
You’re watching and reading TFB’s Photo Of The Day with some nice images from the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. Eventually, the 3rd Special Forces Group ended up in the first place in the 2024 USASOC International Best Sniper Competition. The French Team finished in second and the 10th Special Forces Group was in 3rd place.

Day 2 of the 2024 #USASOC International Sniper Competition at #FortLiberty is complete. Variable winds were the challenge of the day. Halfway through the four-day event, the 18 teams will be back on the ranges this morning to test their skills as a three-person team. It’s blue skies and zero wind for now. Will that change as the day progresses? Who will win this year’s competition?
As usual, it’s difficult to get a cold bore hit. A spotter is invaluable in a lot of cases, and a good team can really work some magic here.

What is the first rifle shown? Looks to have Spiral barrel fluting like a LWRC? https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
I totally want the optic.
