POTD: British Royal Marine Commando Doing Speed Reloads
Photo Of The Day: Start, or continue, your day with a collection of pictures from when the British Royal Marine Commandos conducted rapid target acquisition drills during a close-quarters tactics course at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 12, 2023. These soldiers are assigned to a Commando Strike Team, attached to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
During the CQTE course, instructors from the Expeditionary Operations Training Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, trained 15th MEU and British Royal Marines on detainee handling, urban operations, enhanced marksmanship proficiency, and squad tactics.
Below: Here we got a Trijicon sight on a Trijicon sight on a LaRue Tactical mount.
Below: C clamping does the trick?
Here the Trijicon red dot is mounted 90 degrees, instead of on top. Which would you prefer?
This shooting range looks more like an ancient Mayan place for rituals. Do you know the purpose why it was built like this? To handle large amounts of water, during heavy rain? Remember that the location is California.
Below: These targets are walking on stilts.

Love how they are rocking the Larue Mounts !
I never had to use speed reloads or transition to my pistol. Why? Because I used superior tactics and superior weapon, AKA shooting and reloading while being behind some kind of cover and using the gun that goes bang every time I pull the trigger.
