    Sig Sauer Unveils New Zulu-series Binoculars 

    SIG Sauer has two new ranges of binoculars in its optic line, the Zulu8 HDX and Zulu10 HDXThese new models feature HDX glass and locking diopter rings. Let’s see what other features the new Zulu-series binocular models bring to the table.

    These new models are all rated at the IPX-7 standard for waterproofness and fog resistance. They also use metal frames that are coated in rubber armor. SIG also includes a molded EVA storage case with each model.

    The Zulu10 HDX range has three models, the 10×42 (MSRP $1,359.99), 12×50 (MSRP $1,689.99), and 15×56 (MSRP $1,858.99). There is only one Zulu8 HDX option, a 10×42 (MSRP $809.99). The Zulu8 features a Schmidt-Pechan prism while the Zulu10 models have Abbe Koenig prisms. All new Zulu-series models are in stock as of writing and are available for order on the SIG Sauer website.

With the help of SIG’s proprietary LensArmor™, LenShield™, and SpectraCoat™ technologies, the image generated through the best-in-class Abbe Koenig prism is incredibly sharp from dawn to dusk. The rugged metal chassis and updated rubberized armor provide bombproof durability while maintaining unmatched in-hand comfort. To further improve in-hand comfort and adjustability, the locking diopter ring and main focus dial have been updated to sleek anodized aluminum with a textured rubber over mold. Featuring 3-position adjustability and an updated detent system, the ZULU10 HDX eyecups are designed to maintain their position throughout frequent movement in and out of bino harnesses.
