Photo Of The Day and we have some frames caught for your viewing pleasure. Above an Ivorian Special Forces soldier fires his weapon at a target as part of training at a range during Exercise Flintlock near Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, March 3, 2023. Flintlock provides an opportunity, along with other U.S. military-hosted events, for African nations to share their strategies and best practices to accelerate the collective ability to adapt and overcome the terrorist threat.

Ivorian soldiers are known to use the CTAR model of the Tavor made by IWI, with a shorter 15″ barrel with the Mor sight made by Meprolight. They also use the Micro Tavor X-95 with a Meprolight M21 sight.

Côte d’Ivoire, also known as Ivory Coast, is a West African country located in the Gulf of Guinea. It is bordered by Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ghana. The country has a population of over 28 million people.

Tavors are a bit on the heavy side, but the center of gravity on those things makes the weight a little more manageable in my opinion... and it went bang every time I pulled the trigger. Pretty decent gun if you like bullpups and/or are looking for something other than an AR.

@TDog Surprisingly heavy vs its plastic appearance, but super manageable, as far as weight/balance are concerned. I'd choose one over an M4 in almost all cases.
