Yes, you read that headline correctly: C-Products aka DuraMag is getting into the suppressor game. Don’t worry, they still make magazines too though.

Branching into silencers is a very recent decision, with this project getting underway only five weeks ago. It is so new that there is no official branding in place for the silencer division, nor is there a real name for the silencer itself.

The design leans heavily into additive manufacturing (aka 3d printing) to make shapes that cannot be made with traditional machining. The monocore portion will be made in either titanium for lighter weight or steel for additional durability. Total overall length is around 6.5 inches and it is expected to be available in March or April.

Flow-through suppressors are all the rage right now, and the DuraMag product is no exception. The front end cap is a two piece design. The vents can be opened or closed by removing the inner piece of the front cap, rotating, and fitting it back into the main cap.

Oh, and they now sell a 20-round aluminum magazine in OD Green. It was something that a military wanted, so DuraMag built them. What a world we live in where a new magazine from a magazine company is not the most newsworthy item.

Not sure if I missed it in the article, but can you tune the front cap to something other than all the way open or closed? Like, can you set it to 50% open?

Interesting can. I don’t see any traditional clipping, so it might be loud. Looking forward to a review.
