    AK Light & Laser Mount from Midwest Industries Inc.

    Midwest Industries recently released a new AK Light & Laser Mount for AKM pattern rifles that attaches to the barrel. The new AK Light & Laser mount features two 1913 Picatinny rails, one on each side, with 2.1 inches of space for mounting, well, lights and lasers. The mount also has a cutout to allow for the cleaning rod to remain in place under the barrel. Midwest Industries’ specs can be found below.

    The MI AK Light & Laser Mount as shown on the photos from Midwest Industries looks to fit right at home just ahead of the handguards, although it should be able to mount anywhere on the barrel that isn’t already claimed by the front sight and gas block.
